This is a healing gunshot wound. I thought he would go septic aug.27, he made it though. Guys! We need ADVOCACY to go with the meals!!! Food is great, but dinner conversation which leads to an honest talk about mental health services and drug counseling is better!!!!

Cassiopea kirby will now be running Q.H.I. from here on out while I am on hiatus. Big thanks to her for stepping up!!! She has the heart, the drive, and the kindness, to advance the cause to the next level. As a trans woman she is keenly aware of the pain and suffering of being marginalized and discriminated against. Give her a big welcome!

JOIN US in Sommerset August 15th! Walk-ins are welcome and encouraged by any member of the public looking to learn more about some of the issues facing our state and is FREE, as is overnight camping.
Live music performed on stage by "The Bang Gang" will start at about 8:30 that evening. Strolling musicians prior. Look forward to seeing you all there! This is a BYOB event! See you, there for a night of networking, music, and FUN!!!

So originally, we would schedule very large events. My focus has changed a bit. Instead of 1 large event every 2-3 weeks which cover a very large area Ive been doing 1-2 focused outings weekly helping areas I identify as more of a priority. Better consistency! August 11th I will be volunteering with Westside Outreach in St. Paul, and of course the Outreach Summit is the 15th. Also am looking at providing financial resources to a local charity supporting inner city kids

Whew! First time offering "Pet bunny therapy" to our unsheltered folks. Simple day giving out...freezy-pops, water, snacks, and of course "Bunny love"!!!! Meet our new happiness(or hoppiness) embassador...Basil!
Visits- Gracewood assisted living St Paul, Mears Park St.Paul, Brackett park Mpls., and Salvation Army Mpls.

Special thanks to Kathleena Nunn for stepping up and volunteering to help on a rainy day last minute "feed"!! She didnt hesitate and donated not just her time but helped pick up supplies!!! She gets the "Service work warrior" award, truly an invaluable addition to the service community!! We served 3 cheese, grilled cheese, tomato soup, cheesecake, and many takeaway treats/snacks.

I want to thank all the amazing donors! If we make our fundraising goal it will be a first for us! Also, HUGE thanks to all the supporters who "like" "follow" and "share" without you we wouldnt reach the numbers we do!
Please follow closely in the next week as we organize 2 feeds. The next "feed" will be "discadas" which we will prepare on site(s). They are a traditional sweet/savory taco from northern Mexico. Also, keep your calenders open for the first ever "outreach summit" on August 15th! This will be a chance for many of the wonderful and diverse organizations to network, let there hair down, and have fun!!!!
