Our planting and groundbreaking event was a SUCCESS! We want to thank each and everyone of the people that came and volunteered to make “Gracie’s meditation garden” a reality. An special thanks to Justice Alan Page, Page Education Foundation, Rayito de Sol Spanish Immersion Early Learning Center families, City of Minneapolis , Basilica of Saint Mary , MN Department of Transportation, Citizens for a Loring Park Community, Northside Culture and Kurt Mueller Design for making this posible…. With your support we can make so many things possible.

The next step is to give life our “A Bouquet of Humanity” Mural… You can help this cause by donating in our website.

Today we had the visit of Dr. Lee Frelich to Rayito de Sol Spanish Immersion Early Learning Center Downtown Minneapolis as part of our activities leading up to our planting event tomorrow. Dr. Frelich taught Rayito de Sol children about the importance of trees for our ecosystem and how to take care of them. Meanwhile, our partner MnDoT worked on the garden area to prepare it for tomorrow's planting day!
You can volunteer to plant flowers tomorrow from 8 am to 2 pm. Please send an email to [email protected] to register. We will also have a groundbreaking celebration at 10 am and Justice Alan Page will honor us with his presence!

You can also volunteer to participate in the planting of "Gracie's meditation garden". There are 2 hour slots available from 8 am to 2 pm.
