Years of war and hardship have left thousands of Yemenis living with limb loss.
Children injured by landmines.
Fathers unable to provide.
Mothers struggling to move without pain.
And most have no access to prosthetic care.
Not because it doesnโt exist.
Because they cannot reach it.
A Test That Became a Purpose
In 2016, Allah tested me in a way I never expected.
I lost my leg in a car accident.
I remember the fear.
The uncertainty.
The struggle to walk again.
But Allah also gave me something many others never receive access to care, support, and the chance to stand again.
That blessing became a responsibility.
From Survivor to Servant
Today, I am an amputee, a prosthetics graduate student, and the founder of Fulfilling Lives for the Disabled Community (FLDC).
But more than titles, I carry a mission in my heart:
To serve those who are forgotten.
This Ramadan, our focus is Yemen.
A land beloved to our Ummah.
A people tested beyond words.
The Hope Project โ Yemen
Through the Hope Project, we are working to restore mobility and dignity to Yemeni amputees who have been left behind.
By the will of Allah, this project will:
โข Provide custom prosthetic limbs to Yemeni amputees
โข Restore mobility to those who cannot walk
โข Train future providers to continue the work
โข Offer peer support from amputees who understand the pain
We are not just giving prosthetics.
We are restoring dignity.
Why This Is Sadaqah That Lives On
The Prophet ๏ทบ taught us that the best charity is that which continues to benefit others.
A prosthetic limb is ongoing charity.
Every step they takeโฆ you share the reward.
Every prayer they stand forโฆ you share the reward.
Every time they provide for their familyโฆ you share the reward.
This is Sadaqah Jariyah in motion.
Why This Is Personal for Me
As an amputee, I know what it means to sit and wonder:
โWill I ever walk again?โ
No one should face that question alone.
And no Muslim should be forgotten by their Ummah.
This work is not just humanitarian for me.
It is spiritual.
It is amanah.
This Ramadan, Be the Reason Someone Stands Again
Your support helps:
โข A child walk to school
โข A father return to work
โข A mother regain independence
โข A believer stand in prayer
You may never meet them.
But Allah knows.
And that is enough.
A Prayer and a Promise
This Ramadan, as we ask Allah for mercy, forgiveness, and acceptance let us also be a source of mercy for others.
Together, we can give more than mobility.
We can give hope.
We can give dignity.
We can give a second chance at life.
May Allah accept from you.
May He multiply your reward.
And may He make you the reason someone stands again.
