The cross that we performed this morning at Acacia Cemetery is dedicated to all the brave and courageous men and women who fought for our country. Today is an opportunity to pause our lives and take a moment to show our gratitude for the sacrifices they made to ensure our freedoms. Every person who we are honoring today has a story, they were a son, a daughter, a friend, a neighbor. Just like the sun, their bravery and love stretched to all parts of the world, the lives they filled, the communities they shaped, and the families they loved.
Today is a day to remember those who never returned from service. Although their time on this earth has passed, their memory carries on and their name serves as a reminder of how far we have come.
Moving forward from today, make sure to live each day to the fullest, enjoy every moment, and never take for granted the freedoms we have. I’m so thankful that the weather was gorgeous and that we had 34 daughters there!

Valleyfair was an absolute blast this year! I can’t believe we had so much fun We rode so many rides and screamed so much. Thanks to everyone who made this day so cool! 😎

I am so grateful to have spent this weekend with Bethel #39! We started off with serving the Red Cross of Constantine dinner which was so much fun as always! Then we supported Chapter #238 OES at their tea party by playing our instruments including viola, violin, flute, and euphonium. We played solos, duets, Ashokan farewell, and Amazing Grace. We celebrated with some prospective members and ate good food while enjoying tea and lemonade! Such a great weekend of bonding and service!

I had a blast at Grand Chapter this year! At banquet, I had the pleasure to speak on behalf of the Job’s Daughters in Minnesota to The Eastern Star. It was a great dinner with the leaders of our Masonic organizations, members of Eastern Star, and around 30 members of Prince Hall Grand Chapter! At the ceremony following banquet, a few Jobies received scholarships for their post-secondary education! We had a promotional table and performed the living cross at installation. Congratulations to the new Worthy Grand Matron and Worthy Grand Patron along with all of their new officers on their new stations! I hope you all have a great year! Thank you to the 15 girls who came to help with the cross, your attendance is truly appreciated!

Tests and Finals are coming up so I thought I would share some tips I have for studying!

This weekend was so. much. fun! Leadership was so amazing this term. It was held in Fargo ND and we had so many amazing events! We started off with playing a couple rounds of human knot and a Kahoot about our music ritual followed by a family feud style game where we were given a word and had to find a song from Job’s with it in the title! This was followed by singing the Welcome song one word at a time and a little break before we went into a self defense presentation. A police officer who works at North Dakota State University who teaches a self defense class at the University gave us a demonstration on some moves to use if we were to find ourselves in danger, even letting us practice some of our punches on her blocker. We did some breakout sessions one of which was Care of the Robe, where Joy Erickson taught us the difference in robe fabrics, how to measure and sew a hem, and tack on chords. The other was a presentation on some basic mechanics in a car like the spare tire, washer fluid, and when to do an oil change given by Harris, a local mechanic. Thank you to our guests who had something new to teach all of us! Then we went to dinner, followed by learning how to fill out a job application, and fold our laundry. (Including a fitted sheet 😬, thank you Shannon) We had some ice cream, watched a move, and had a skipping party right before bed. There was some great food in the morning before we headed back home. Thank you so much to our leadership committee who put so much time and effort into making this a memorable and exciting experience for all of the girls and adults, your effort does not go unnoticed!

I had so much fun attending the International Youth Leader Town Hall this evening! Thank you to .mijd and .sbhq for hosting all of us and teaching us about the importance of social media as a promotional tool for Job’s Daughters!

Grand Lodge 2026! I had so much fun at Grand Lodge this year! To start off the weekend we set up the promotional table and headed to the Grand Master’s reception. We had some great food and had a lot of fun talking to the Masons. On Friday, we helped with the promotional table, played a card game, headed to get some lunch (despite the rain), got some homework done, and attended banquet with some amazing food! On Saturday, I had the pleasure of speaking at the public session and then participating in the Living Cross during installation. We had 30 girls and 2 bees along with many DeMolay who performed the Arch of Steel. Congratulations to the new Grand Master and all of the newly installed officers!

I had a great time at Bethel 32 today! It was a great meeting with cookies, cheeseballs, and pink lemonade afterwards! Quite a long drive, to go up and back in one day, but I am so glad I did! 😁 I am continuously impressed with the engagement from the girls in this Bethel during a meeting! Thank you again for having me!
