Hawa’s Wings is a nonprofit organization that equips young people with the values and vision to pursue their dreams.

Our mission is to cultivate and empower an entrepreneurial within students by equipping them through training, coaching, lending and providing space for incubation and growth. Our mission is to expose youth to the business world through our experiential learning model, fostering the development of business literacy and leadership skills necessary to be more successful in school and in life. While Hawa’s Wings is open to all students, we take care to facilitate a pipeline to success for high school students from underserved and diversity backgrounds. This helps many of our students escape the cycle of hopelessness that occurs far too often in communities across America. Once Hawa’s Wings students complete our programs, they become part of our alumni network, a diverse community of talent, and can transition seamlessly from student to corporate culture with a deep understanding of business and finance.

Important Update: Ballers and Badges 2025

To our amazing community,

We regret to inform you that due to unforeseen circumstances, we must postpone the 3rd Annual Ballers and Badges 3v3 Youth Basketball Clinic and Tournament, originally scheduled for Martin Luther King Day, January 20, 2025.

We are working diligently to secure a new venue and finalize details so we can still bring this incredible event to life. This tournament means so much to us, as it brings youth and community leaders together for mentorship, sportsmanship, and unity.

Please stay tuned for updates as we confirm a new date and location. We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we work to make this event even better.

resilience in the face of adversity. Hawa's Wings is dedicated to nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit in young people, providing them with the tools, guidance, and resources needed to pursue their dreams. Through educational programs, training, mentoring, and financial assistance, they aim to equip students with business literacy and leadership skills essential for success in both school and life. Their mission includes hosting intensive summer programs, entrepreneurial fairs, and connecting students with local entrepreneurs to expand their networks and opportunities.

We are excited to announce that we will be launching Monthly Community Youth Nights for youth in grades 1-8 and Teen Nights. These youth and teen nights are designed for an evening of fun and include food. The cost is $5.00 per child each night your child(ren) attends. Space is limited and these events are open to the public.
