Peer Coaching might not mean what you think it does…

The “peer” part isn’t about having the same title, working on the same team, or already being a coach. It’s about learning alongside others while practicing coaching skills around development goals under the guidance of a credentialed coach. You’ll both coach and be coached, with different experiences and perspectives adding to the learning along the way.

No coaching credential required. Just a willingness to learn, practice, and grow alongside others.

What does it look like when more people have access to coaching?

Expanding access to coaching is at the heart of our work. We believe more people should have opportunities to experience coaching, build new skills, and grow within their organizations and communities. Through coach education, Peer Coaching, learning events, and community, we’re working to create more ways for people to experience the power of coaching.

📣 Calling all community builders, collaborators, and behind-the-scenes magic-makers! 📣

We’re starting to build our CCO Summit 2027 volunteer team! Last year, an incredible group of volunteers brought their time, skills, ideas, and energy to the Summit. Now we’re getting ready to do it all again, and we’d love for you to be part of it.

There are lots of ways to jump in, from working with our speaker team and bringing communications to life with marketing to supporting tech, coordinating education credits, recruiting sponsors, emceeing, and more. One shift participants are noticing through Peer Coaching is moving away from always needing to provide the answer and creating more space for others to think, contribute, and take ownership.

For leaders, that can mean stronger delegation, more agency for their teams, and more capacity to focus their time and energy where it matters most. Peer Coaching gives leaders a place to practice that shift through real conversations with peers.

Coaching skills aren’t just for coaches.

Building a coaching culture creates space for leaders to ask better questions, listen differently, create more ownership, and help others find their own way forward. When those skills become part of everyday leadership, coaching can become part of how people lead, communicate, and develop others across an organization.

A year of showing up, learning and unlearning, practicing, reflecting, asking courageous questions, laughing together, supporting one another, and growing into the coaches they’re becoming. Each person brought their own spark, and together they built something pretty special. Looking back at all these moments, it’s amazing just how much can happen in one year.
