🐈‍⬛🎉 ADOPTION ALERT! 🎉🐈‍⬛

Our very own Spirit, the Roatán Island Panther, has been ADOPTED! 🖤🐾

From the island of Roatán to a forever home in Texas, Spirit’s journey has officially come full circle! ❤️

Once again, our amazing friends at Sydney's Sanctuary and Cat Lounge in Austin, Texas, have worked their magic, helping another one of our island kitties find the purrfect family!

We are beyond grateful for this incredible partnership and the love and dedication Sydney’s puts into finding forever homes for our Roatán rescues.

Happy tails, Spirit! 🐈‍⬛🖤 Your next chapter is just beginning, and we couldn’t be happier for you!

🚨🐾 WE HAVE THE FLIGHTS… NOW WE NEED YOUR HELP TO GET OUR CATS HOME! 🐾🚨

We have some wonderful news! ❤️ We have secured flights for EVERY cat currently in our foster care! These precious souls finally have a chance to leave Roatán and begin their new lives.

But there is one major obstacle standing in their way. We desperately need help paying for those flights and their remaining care.

💔 we have had to close our doors to new intakes because we simply do not have the funds.

And that is heartbreaking.

Every day, there are kittens on Roatán struggling to survive. Tiny babies abandoned in the jungle, sick kittens desperately needing medical attention, orphaned babies with no momma to keep them alive, and families who can barely afford to feed themselves, much less provide veterinary care for kittens they find.

We know they are out there. We know they need us. And right now, we cannot say YES. 💔

Our financial obligations are mounting:

🐾 Three outstanding invoices from our veterinarians

✈️ Flights to get our remaining cats to safety

📋 Health certificates and travel requirements

🥣 Daily food, litter, and care for the kittens still in foster homes

We have worked so hard to give these cats a fighting chance, and we are SO close to getting every one of them to their next chapter.

But rescue cannot survive on love alone.

Our donors have always been the heart of Flight Angels of Roatán. Every rescue, every recovery, every flight, and every happy ending has been possible because people like YOU believed these lives mattered.

❤️ We need your help now more than ever.

We want to pay our veterinarians. We want to get our remaining cats on their flights. And most importantly, we want to reopen our doors to the kittens still waiting for someone to save them.

Whether you can give $5, $25, $50, or more, every donation brings us closer to making that happen.

🙏 PLEASE DONATE. PLEASE SHARE. PLEASE HELP US SAY YES AGAIN.

Because somewhere on Roatán tonight, there is a tiny kitten who doesn’t know that help may not be coming.

We don’t want to leave them behind. 🐾❤️

YES!

Here's a myth we hear all the time: "You can't spay a cat while she's nursing."

But the fact is, you can. And in most cases, you SHOULD.

A mama cat can come back into heat as soon as two weeks after giving birth — while she's still feeding her litter. That's how one friendly stray in a backyard becomes fifteen cats in a year and a half.

We wrote up the timing, what the surgery is like for a nursing mom, and how to care for her afterward. LINK IN COMMENTS

🌟🐾 SUPERSTAR FOSTER ON THE MOVE! ✈️💙

From a homeless kitten at the entrance of Parrot Tree to a flight toward his forever family! 🐱❤️

This sweet boy started life living near the entrance of Parrot Tree on Roatán, where the wonderful security guards took him under their wing, showing him kindness and helping him learn to trust people. 💕

Our amazing friend Marcella stepped in to pick him up and get him the veterinary care he needed, giving him a chance at a whole new life!

And today, this little superstar took to the skies traveling alongside his foster and flight angel, Beth! ✈️🐾

He’s headed to Pittsburgh, where he’ll begin the exciting next chapter of finding his forever family! 🏡❤️

From the security guards who cared for him, to Marcella, Beth, and our wonderful rescue partners at Aggy's Alley Cats — this is what teamwork in rescue looks like!

One little life. So many helping hands. One incredible journey. 💙

Happy tails, sweet boy! Your best chapter is just beginning! 🐾✨🇭🇳✈️🇺🇸😻
