She got on stage and got a little scared 😂🥹—but our kids already knew what to do! They jumped right up front to join her and make sure she wasn’t up there by herself. ❤️

THIS is what we have been working on all summer!

The love, support, and connection between our staff and our kids is something so special. They showed her, “You’re not alone—we got you!”

We’re creating a BRAVE & SAFE space where K–12 youth can belong, learn, grow, lead, build positive relationships, and have fun after school.

Today, our Jerry Gamble Boys & Girls Club Middle School & High School youth took a moment to recognize the incredible teen workers and adult workers who poured into them throughout the summer.

Each teen worker and adult worker was presented with a certificate and/or personalized poster board as a small token of appreciation for all they have done.

From helping youth build their reading skills, work through math , navigate challenges, and regulate their emotions , our staff and teen workers showed up day after day to support, encourage, teach, and simply BE THERE.

This is bigger than a summer job.
This is bigger than a program.
THIS IS WHAT THIS WORK IS ABOUT.

It’s about building relationships.
It’s about creating safe spaces.
It’s about helping young people discover what they are capable of.
It’s about showing up when they need us most.

We are so proud of our youth and grateful for every teen worker and adult who made a difference this summer. Your impact matters, and the work you do matters!

Larson day of kindness—We started the day by packing and delivering food boxes to the North Point Food Shelf. The kids also decorated affirmation cards and attached them to cookies. After dropping off the food boxes, they shared the cookies and uplifting messages with youth and adults, brightening so many smiles along the way.

To wrap up the day our middle school group hosted a “Kindness party” for our K2 group! The celebration was filled with face painting, glow-in-the-dark skating, games, snacks, and lots of fun!
