I began solo babysitting at the age of 10 for three young siblings next door, since then, I've had the opportunity to full time nanny for 5+ different families. I've worked in various childcare settings and have lost track of the number of kids I've coached, directed, or taught and cared for. I love children and have always been naturally nurturing and motherly.
👭👬I have experience with multiples, including: newborns, twin toddlers, and sibling sets (4 girls once!). I’m open to kids having a friend over to play, too.
🩵 Happy to nanny neurodivergent and other special needs kiddos.
🎶 Most recently, I taught k-4 music, 5-8 choir, and started/revived theatre programs at 3 different schools. I am a licensed substitute teacher, as well.
🩷 From 2022-2023, I soley fostered three children (including a 12 day old baby for 6 months) in Hennepin County. I do hope to be a foster mom again someday.
🎭 Theatre is an important part of my life—I’m also a singer, play a lil piano, and dialect/accent coach.
🥎 I enjoy sports, as they were a significant part of my upbringing (specifically softball and basketball) and have coached and worked with community ed camps and programs.
🎨 I LOVE arts and crafts: painting, coloring, sketching, construction paper projects…Pinterest is one of my closest friends.
🏊♀️ ☀️ Being on my parent’s pontoon is my happy place, and I am a confident swimmer. I am 💯 fine if your little one wants to go to the pool, beach, spash pad, etc.
Regarding rates, I’m relatively open. Factors like driving and gas money for activities with the kids would be considered. (I confidently drive a Subaru Forester). Another factor would be if you’d like me to help in other ways around the home, such as: cleaning, cooking, laundry.
I believe my skills and experience are valued in the range of $22 to $30/hr. I have excellent references, too!
My schedule is very flexible and I am able to start right away! I do have grad school in the fall and classes begin on August 26. I’d ideally like to be settled in a few days before.
