In Little Earth, many families are navigating challenges no one should have to face alone — poverty, food insecurity, unstable housing, great loss, and so much more. Yet even in the midst of this, those in the community shine with extraordinary resilience, strength, and hope.

Your generosity is more than gifts — it’s a reminder that families are seen, loved, and cared for. God has not forgotten those in Little Earth, and we have the honor of being His message of hope and compassion to those in need this season.

Hey Little Earth Families,
We see you and love you! Please reach out if you need help navigating resources or need support of any kind. You are not alone ❤️❤️

To the parent worried about how to feed their family if SNAP doesn’t get funding next month,
I see you.
You’re not lazy. You’re not a failure.
You’re a mom or dad trying to make something out of nothing. ❤️

When the pantry shelves look empty and the fridge light feels too bright, here are real ways families survive when there’s nothing left to stretch:

🥫 Go to the food pantries.
No shame. That’s what they’re there for. Many don’t ask for proof, just show up.

🍞 Check your local schools.
Even outside of session, some districts give free breakfasts and lunches. You just have to ask.

🥕 Look for community gardens or gleaning programs.
People post extras all the time! apples, veggies, eggs. Don’t be afraid to take what’s offered.

🍳 Cook from the basics.
A bag of rice, beans, or pasta can turn into meals for days. Add broth, canned veggies, or eggs, feed bellies, not pride.

🍼 If you’ve got littles, apply for WIC.
It’s separate from SNAP and still running in most areas.

🧺 Find mobile food drives.
Search “Feeding America” or your zip code + “mobile pantry.”

🧃 Community fridges exist now.
“Take what you need, leave what you can.” Check local Facebook groups.

🍎 Ask for help.
From neighbors, family, church… even a local mom group. People want to help. You’d do the same for them.

💔 And please remember:
You’re not a bad parent because you’re struggling.
You’re a good parent in a broken system.

You’re doing everything you can to keep little bellies full.
That’s love in its truest form. 🤍

We are preparing something very special for the incredible caretakers of the Little Earth Community — a relaxing Spa Day designed to honor those who give so much of themselves to care for others.

These individuals are the heartbeat of their families and community, often putting their own needs last. Now, we have the opportunity to give them the rest, recognition, and restoration they truly deserve. 💆🏽‍♀️💖

We’re looking for partners, donations, and volunteers to help make this day unforgettable. Whether it’s volunteering, donating items, or simply sharing this post — every act of kindness makes a difference.

We need two more women (or high school ladies) who are willing to be a mentor to an elementary school girl! We have a couple girls who want to be apart but we are not able yo have them attend our afterschool program unless we find two more women! Could it be YOU? If not you, someone else that you know?

We are launching our 8 week spring afterschool program: 1:1 mentoring, life skills, emotional skills, tutoring and leadership development phase 1 - How do I lead myself?

After a shooting at the corner store about a 1/2 block away last night, we are praying for healing and life to fill Little Earth and the surrounding area. Enough is enough - no more bloodshed!

John 10:10 - the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy but I have come so that you might have abundant life.”

Ephesians 5:14::
Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.

Today we are declaring that those in Little Earth will awaken and arise from the dead - spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically - and transformative love and resurrection power of Christ will shine on each person in Little Earth in Jesus name!
