"Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you." - 2 Corinthians 6:17

Separation. Holiness. Sanctification. Traits that Christ wants for all of His church, yet the world today would discourage this- especially for our children! The world will tell them that "Jesus understands" or "You've got to live a little" but what does Scripture have to say about it? This year, we want to encourage our youth about the importance of holiness unto The Lord, warn them of the consequences of sin, and share with them the joy of The Lord!

Camp Meeting Preliminaries Begin Thursday!

The Christian Baptist Association Camp Meeting officially begins with three exciting days of preliminary events before our main camp meeting services.

Thursday, July 16 | Christian Baptist Youth Night | 7:00 PM

Join us for an evening celebrating what God has done through our young people this summer! Led by our Youth President, Kahler Rockwell, this service will feature testimonies and highlights from Peace Valley Youth Camps, where lives were changed and hearts were drawn closer to Christ.

Friday, July 17 | Faith Bible Institute Night | 7:00 PM

This special service will be led by Dr. Chase Holbrook. We are looking forward to worship led by The Koenig Family, followed by the preaching of Rev. Gaven Traylor. Whether you’re an Faith Bible Institute minister or simply love the study of God’s Word, you’ll be blessed by this service.

Saturday, July 18 | General Council

Our annual General Council is the business session of the Christian Baptist Association, where delegates from our churches gather to conduct the work of the Association.

* 10:30AM – Morning Session
* Noonish - Lunch
* 1:30 PM – Afternoon Session
* around 3pm - Memorial Service at the end of the general council.
* after the memorial service the youth will have their meeting for electing officers.

The council will open with a message from General Superintendent Dr. Jeremy Kamer. Throughout the day, delegates will receive reports, elect officers, and conduct Association business.

At the conclusion of General Council, we will pause to honor those ministers and members of our Association who have gone home to be with the Lord during our annual Memorial Service. This service typically begins around 3:00 PM, though it may begin earlier depending on when business concludes.

Saturday, July 18 | World for Christ Missions Night | 7:00 PM

We’ll conclude the day with a special missions service led by World for Christ Missions President Mike Rogers. Worship will be led by Jeff Dickens, and Rev. Denver Prater will bring the evening message as we celebrate what God is doing through missions around the world.

We invite everyone to join us for these special services as we prepare our hearts for Camp Meeting. Whether you’re a delegate, a church member, or a guest, there’s a place for you. We look forward to worshipping with you!

PVYC 2026 was such an amazing 2 weeks!

It’s always hard to put into words the impact that camp has on both the campers and the staff. It’s amazing what a week totally pointed towards Jesus will do for everyone! Young and old alike, a week focused on Surrender truly helps us understand who we are meant to be in Christ.

This year we had so many first time campers and first time staff! They’ve come to the same conclusion we all do when we spend a week at the camp: We LOVE Peace Valley! We are so grateful for those campers who did something new this year and came to camp and the staff who were willing to serve God in a new way this summer.

Chase Holbrook delivered some of the best sermons directed to 9-12 year olds I have ever heard. All of them pointed towards different aspects of our lives we should surrender to God. All of them challenging to the older in the congregation, but simple enough for the younger to grasp and apply to their life.

This was Caleb Brown’s 4th year preaching our teen week. There is a special relationship between the campers and Caleb that is hard to describe. Each year he has brought powerful messages that all point us to the reality that we need Jesus. The teens were so willing to hear the word preached and respond to the Holy Spirit in prayer.

Best of all, 7 teens came forward and made a profession of faith on Tuesday night! On top of this, nightly the teens would approach the alter and genuinely reach out to God in prayer seeking help for their very real issues in life.

We are so thankful for all of the kitchen staff, our games leaders, our craft leaders, our teachers, our counselors, our camp directors, and those who were able to help out in various ways during both weeks. Peace Valley doesn’t happen without people willing to surrender their time to the Lord.

Until next year,

Kahler
