Yesterday, we took a moment to celebrate the life of an extraordinary individual, Jim Quandel — a cherished family member, steadfast friend, and dedicated community servant.

His dedication touched many lives, and his influence will resonate within the community for years to come.

Mr. Quandel, your presence will be deeply missed , Rest in peace.

Today, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our brothers and sisters of the Minersville Fire Department, and Good Intent Hose Company of Llewellyn, who braved the bitter cold and strong winds to support the services for our member, Jim Quandel.

A special thank you to the members of West End Hose Company #7 of Pottsville assisting with the setup of the memorial arch display in front of our station.

Thank you all for standing with our company as we honor Jim’s memory.
