Our team member Chris recently shared some beautiful images with us. Chris took in the sights on a scenic hike from Kings Creek Picnic Area to the backside of Bumpass Hell. While snow was present at the Cold Boiling Lake trailhead, the remainder of the hike was snow-free.

The park road is officially open! Come see us this weekend!

Highway 89 through Lassen Volcanic National Park is open! Many trails at higher elevations are still snow-covered and the Bumpass Hell Trail remains closed. Prepare for winter conditions if you plan to hike. https://www.nps.gov/lavo/planyourvisit/hours.htm
