As summer break commences, Back Pack Buddies will continue to provide essential food support to children in need. Consistent with previous years, we will distribute food bags alongside the summer feeding program at Travis Elementary every Thursday in June from 10:00-12:00, starting June 4.

We would like to take a moment to express our heartfelt appreciation to everyone involved in this year's Mineral Wells Idol. Thank you to our generous sponsors, donors, talented participants, knowledgeable judges, engaging emcee, skilled sound crew, dedicated volunteers, and enthusiastic attendees. A special thank you to Crazy Water Company for providing a perfect venue!

The event's success is evident in the approximately $28,000 raised, which will provide around 5000 bags of food or roughly 16 weeks' worth of weekend meals for local children. This outstanding community effort will have a great impact.
