Today, we gather with heavy hearts to remember our dear Alexandra, who has touched so many lives. To celebrate her spirit, the Friends of Agnes Foundation is dedicated to continuing her legacy of kindness. We’re on a mission to feed the hungry, provide sarees to women in need, and care for orphans, ensuring that Alexandra’s warmth and compassion live on in our community. She will always be remembered fondly by so many of us!

The 40 families in Mangupalli village are in dire need of clean drinking water, which we learned during the food distribution on the Ninth World Day of the Poor. It would cost $2,000 to drill the borehole and install a hand pump. Supporting this cause during the giving season would be a great act of kindness.
Dhanalakshmi, a young lady who lost her husband in an accident, is now left with two boys, Naveen (12) and Naren (7). They currently live in a hut and are vulnerable to dangerous insects and snakes. They need a decent home. My sister, a schoolteacher in that village, has brought this to my attention and asked whether we could assist in any way. It would cost $5,000 to build a safe, decent home for this low-income family. Helping them during this giving season is a noble cause. Please consider supporting this effort. Thank you!

On November 16th, the Friends of Agnes Charitable Foundation marked the 9th World Day of the Poor by spreading hope and nourishment by distributing food items to 50 families facing poverty in two villages, the second being Mangupalli.

Dear friends, the students in India have been back at school since mid-June. Today, we distributed school supplies to twenty orphaned children our Foundation is supporting. We are making plans for the students to stay at the orphanage. At present, one is in college, nine are in high school, and the rest are in middle and elementary school. They are staying with their grandparents and aunts. Thank you.
