Warren Township Community Center

Warren Township Community Center Our community center is completely operated by volunteers dedicated to serving our community.

There are no paid staff and we are not subsidized by any organization. The Warren Township Community Center was formed in September of 2007. It was formerly the New Cumberland Elementary school but came about as a result of the Tuscarawas Valley School District closing the New Cumberland Elementary school, as a cost cutting measure as well as to make other improvements within the distri

ct. After discussions between the School Board and the Warren Township Trustees, the school district sold the elementary school to the township. The trustees, along with area volunteers, have been providing a variety of events and activities to build a stronger community.

SILENT AUCTION!! If you haven't been over yet to check it out our last day is this Monday, June 1st for the auction. Lots of great items to bid on, grab lunch, play Bingo, grab a good book from the Tuscarawas County Pop Up Library. Thank you Maggie, Melanie, Melinda and Theresa for all your efforts to put the auction together and all those who donated such great items. These fundraisers help keep our doors open so we appreciate your support!

I love our community!!! Thanks to everyone who came out to spend their Memorial Day with us! What a great turnout and wonderful to catch up with family, friends, and neighbors. The parade is always so fun and grateful for all those who participate, along with the American Legion, our great Mineral City, Sherrodsville, and Fairfield fire departments, and Smith Ambulance. And how fun to have 2 girls, you've known since they were babies, who are now 2026 Tuscarawas County Beef Queen and Princess royalty, walk the parade with their cows!!!!! 🥰 Thanks Katrina and Danielle, your grandpa would be so proud. It all just felt so very hometown WHOLESOME!! Thank you, Jeff Latimer, for organizing the parade and the Memorial service in the cemetery. Thank you to all the volunteers who so willing served to make the day possible. Thanks Elaine, and Beverly, for all the great food. Thank you JaxSun for taking the photos. And most of all, thanks to all our military, and their families, who sacrificed it all, so we could live in the greatest country in the world. God Bless America!!
