The Nassau County Deputy Sheriff’s Benevolent Association would like to congratulate Deputy Sheriff Joseph Pratt on his retirement from the Nassau County Sheriff’s Department after more than 20 years of service.

Joe was sworn in as a Deputy Sheriff on November 1, 2005, and just recently retired last week. He served our Department starting in the Family Court Unit and spent the end of his career working in the Field Unit.

He plans to enjoy many years of his retirement locally with his wife and family.

The Nassau County Deputy Sheriff’s Benevolent Association would like to congratulate Deputy Sheriff Captain Thomas Sellitto on his retirement from the Nassau County Sheriff’s Department after more than 30 years of service.

Tom was sworn in as a Correction Officer on May 10, 1996 and was sworn in as a Deputy Sheriff on January 10, 1997 and just recently retired last week. He served our Department working in Family Court, the Central Office, the Field Unit and in our Warrant Unit. He ended his career overseeing the Central Office unit.

He plans to enjoy many years of his retirement south of the border in a warmer climate.
