It’s very unfortunate. Hopefully things are changed back! This event was thriving with Irish American organizations involved. The chambers ended a partnership and we had the very definition of a ghost town as a result of that. Last year was a colder day than this year’s parade and the event continued as normal. This was a lack of management and passion for the event.

A little snow won’t stop us from getting our Irish on! ☘️

All residents are invited to join us for our Irish Flag Raising Ceremony this Friday, February 27 at 5:00 PM at Mineola Fire Department headquarters. Light refreshments to follow.

Bundle up, bring your Irish spirit, and help us celebrate — because as the Irish say, “May your troubles be less and your blessings be more, and nothing but happiness come through your door!”
