Big thank you to the great Americans over at Courage Crew sports. We received 1,600.00 in donations to put towards the veterans memorial. We co-sponsored Military appreciation night in December at the Tri-City Storm game.

Join the American Legion/VFW on December 13th at the Viaero Event Center in Kearney and bid on a jersey after the game. Proceeds will be split between the Kearney county Veterans Memorial and Courage Crew Sports.

Come say hi, we will have Legion/VFW members in attendance working a table on the concourse.

Join us for our first jersey auction of the year on Saturday, December 13th for Military Appreciation Night sponsored by Courage Crew!

We are looking for businesses or individuals who would want to donate to the Legion/VFW and Courage crew sports to help us with the cost of the Tri City Storm sponsorship/Jersey night.

We will be doing a logo on a sheet for businesses who want recognized for helping out. The sheet will be in a prominent location on our table right by our Jersey raffle that Courage crew is donating. I’ll also do a few social media posts on the courage crew website.

We are excited to announce our next fundraising endeavor. We are partnering with Courage Crew sports to do the Tri City Storm jersey auction November 22nd.

The agreement is a 50/50 split of cost and profit. Our half will go to the Kearney County Veterans Memorial and Courage Crew will use their half to help with getting sports organized for Vets, Fire fighters, police and first responders.

Players will wear The Jerseys during the game and auction them off In a live auction right after the game.

More info to come as we get jerseys designed and more details from the Tri City Storm.

Legion/VFW meeting tonight. Social hour starts at 6:30

After the meeting we will be heading out to do a flag retirement ceremony.

Meetings will pick back up the first Tuesday of every month thru spring.

Day 4 of Class B State Legion Baseball is getting ready for action. We got 4 teams remaining that are fighting for a spot in the championship game tomorrow. If you are in or around Minden, NE come on out and watch some amazing baseball. Veteran admission is FREE!
