Carson Valley FFA had our Officer installations for 2020-2021 year today. Our President is Lillie McKinney, Vice President is Ryan Olson, Secretary is Grace Tekansik, Treasure is Evelyn Baker, and our Reporter is Kate Barns. Congratulations to all. Here’s to a great year.

Got to work with the Future of FFA this week. We invited incoming 8th graders and the kids that we met were amazing! Can't wait to work with them next year!!

Winter Leadership Training was a blast. We had members attending 212°, 360°, and nom com training earlier this week in Mesquite, Nevada. A great opportunity to learn how to better ourselves, our chapter, and our community. A 10 hour drive is always worth it when we see our friends that are across our great state! But it will be nice next year in Carson City!

Hey guys! So October 15 is coming up fast and we are having our first annual October Fall Festival! All the information is on the flyer, all CV FFA members please sign up to help, and encourage community members to come! Spread the word! Make sure you stop by on the last day of our annual greenhouse sale, we still have lots of vegetables and flowers left for sale. All are grown by our students in our agriculture program and they have worked very hard to produce the best plants they can.

Hey Everyone, we hope your summer is great so far! Our beloved teacher Allyson Lammiman will be moving to Montana to teach agriculture. She would love to say goodbye to everyone past and present. There will be a picnic at Minden Park on Tuesday, July 21 from 4-7pm. Anyone is welcome, but we ask that you bring a picnic dish. Hotdogs will be provided. Thank you, we hope to see you there!

Only 4 more days until SLC!! Remember to pack your offical dress, and a sleeping bag or blankets and a pillow because the cabin can get a little chilly at night. Finally don't forget to bring the most important thing a great attitude and be ready to have some fun!!!
