Zambian Mission Project

Zambian Mission Project Prayer Intercessors, thank you for praying.
As you pray this week for us to meet our $50,000 goal by the end of July next summer, remember that as God answers prayer, He gets the glory and we get the benefit. Psalm 50:15: "And call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”

Zambian Mission Project Prayer Intercessors,

In Psalm 81:10 God reminds us that because He is the one who has saved us, we can trust Him to do anything else we need. Like a baby bird opens its mouth so mama bird can feed it, so we can open wide our mouths to Him: "I am the Lord your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it." Please remember this promise this week as you join us in prayer for those who are working on the overhaul of our web site and page so we will be better positioned to connect with donors.
Also, give thanks to God that we have received $6,000 for orphancare since we have been sending out these prayer updates.

For those new to this prayer update: Our goal by July 2027 is $50,000, so the Zambian Mission Project orphan care ministry can be self-supporting through their businesses. This prayer update can also be found at the ZMP page. Please share this prayer update with others who will pray. We would love to include others in this weekly update also. For more information or to give, visit zambianmissionproject.org (to donate: third option down on the home page’s drop down tab).

In John 14:12-14 Jesus made some bold promises to his current and future disciples: “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. 13 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it." These are wonderful boosts to our prayers for orphan care ministry in Zambia. Pray with confidence that by the end of next Summer we will have raised $50,000 to construct an orphan house, a vehicle to use in business endeavors, and a tilapia fish farm. These will be key to self-sufficiency for the ministry.

Please encourage others to pray with and for us.

Thank you!

Zambian Mission Project prayer Intercessors,
In John 15:16 Jesus says, "...I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, He may give it to you." Jesus chooses His followers for the purpose that they might bear lasting fruit and so that they can pray, receiving answers to their prayers. The second purpose serves the first purpose. Please know we are experiencing this promise being fulfilled. During the time we have put out this weekly prayer update, we have raised over $6,500 for the ZMP ministry and an additional $7,000 for a specific need related to ZMP. In other words, God is answering prayer. So, keep praying! If you would like to give toward the ZMP tilapia fish farm project ($8,500), this will provide nutritious food for the children and generate income through surplus sales. Thank you for praying!

Zambian Mission Project Prayer Warriors,
To show that God still answers prayer, to honor God, to meet the needs of at-risk children and orphans in Zambia, and to illustration the gospel by which we are adopted into the family of God, we are believing God for a big, audacious goal of raising over $50,000 by the end of the summer, 2027. Over the next few weeks I will highlight some specific needs for which the money is being raised. Here are two:
1. Orphan House Project ($25,000): Building a dedicated orphan home will provide a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for children. This investment ensures proper shelter, security, and a sense of belonging.

2. Vehicle for Transportation ($30,000): A reliable vehicle is essential for transporting supplies and products to markets. It enhances safety, accessibility, and efficiency in daily operations.

Please join us this Wednesday in prayer.

Prayer Warriors for the Zambian Mission Project: As we pray for orphan care in Zambia this week, let's praise and thank God that the leader of our Zambian Mission Project team in Zambia, Sandwell Zgambo, will be devoting more time to our orphan care ministry as of October 18. This will greatly help the ministry grow and go forward. Please pray for support for him and his family.
As we pray for God's provision for ZMP, let's remember God's promise in Philippians 4:19: "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." 18th century missionary to China, Hudson Taylor, because of promises like this, famously said, "God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply."
Please join us in prayer (and fasting at least one meal if you can) this Wednesday.

This week as we pray for orphan care in Zambia, that God would miraculously provide so the ministry can be self-sustaining by next July, let's pray with Psalm 146:5-7 in mind: "Blessedly happy is the one whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God, who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them,
who keeps faith forever; who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets the prisoners free...."
Please pray that God will feed and provide for orphans in Zambia, and as that takes place, children and others will be set free in Jesus Christ.
Praise God we received $100 this weekend for a specific need related to ZMP's ministry.

Zambian Mission Project Prayer Warriors,
This past week I read the Old Testament book of Esther and was reminded how in the fifth century, B.C. God used two people of faith (Esther and Mordecai) to save His people from a formidable enemy who wanted to destroy them. As we pray for the ZMP's orphan care ministry, please pray that God will overcome our formidable enemy, Satan, who would love to destroy orphans in Zambia and keep them from hearing the gospel and having necessities of life.
Does God hear our prayers! Yes! This past week we have received $1,200 in extra gifts for ZMP. Praise God and keep praying!

This morning I learned of a new need related to the Zambian Mission Project orphan care ministry in Zambia. Shortly thereafter I opened our mail and had a $300 check for this very need sent from someone I don't know in Florida! God answers prayer and He provides. Praise Him!Please pray tomorrow (and fast one meal if you can) that God will continue to stir the hearts of donors to help build this all-important orphan care ministry, and this to His glory (Ezra 1:1, 5). For more information or to give, visit zambianmissionproject.org. Please share this with others who will pray.
