This week as we pray for orphan care in Zambia, that God would miraculously provide so the ministry can be self-sustaining by next July, let's pray with Psalm 146:5-7 in mind: "Blessedly happy is the one whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God, who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them,
who keeps faith forever; who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets the prisoners free...."
Please pray that God will feed and provide for orphans in Zambia, and as that takes place, children and others will be set free in Jesus Christ.
Praise God we received $100 this weekend for a specific need related to ZMP's ministry.

Zambian Mission Project Prayer Warriors,
This past week I read the Old Testament book of Esther and was reminded how in the fifth century, B.C. God used two people of faith (Esther and Mordecai) to save His people from a formidable enemy who wanted to destroy them. As we pray for the ZMP's orphan care ministry, please pray that God will overcome our formidable enemy, Satan, who would love to destroy orphans in Zambia and keep them from hearing the gospel and having necessities of life.
Does God hear our prayers! Yes! This past week we have received $1,200 in extra gifts for ZMP. Praise God and keep praying!

This morning I learned of a new need related to the Zambian Mission Project orphan care ministry in Zambia. Shortly thereafter I opened our mail and had a $300 check for this very need sent from someone I don't know in Florida! God answers prayer and He provides. Praise Him!Please pray tomorrow (and fast one meal if you can) that God will continue to stir the hearts of donors to help build this all-important orphan care ministry, and this to His glory (Ezra 1:1, 5). For more information or to give, visit zambianmissionproject.org. Please share this with others who will pray.

Helping Those In Need

Attention Zambian Mission Project prayer warriors! In Ezra 1:1 we read that God stirred up the spirit of Cyrus, King of Persia, to send Israelites back to Jerusalem so they could rebuild the temple of God, an essential part of God's worldwide mission. In verse 5 we read that God stirred spirits of Israelites to go back to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple. This is a powerful encouragement to those of us praying for orphan care in Zambia. Please pray this Wednesday (and fast if you can) that God will stir the spirits of donors to build this all-important mission in Zambia!

Our goal to raise $50,000 for orphan care by July of 2027 is a giant of a goal. It is one that feels like it is well beyond what could be done by us--and it is! Because of this, the words of David in 1 Samuel 17 about Goliath should encourage us to pray with faith this week. To Israelites who were too afraid to go against Goliath, David asked, "For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?” And then to Goliath himself, David said, "You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the LORD will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you down and cut off your head."

When we look at the $50,000 goal compared to our own ability, we are dwarfed by it and are paralyzed by doubt. Yet, when we look at it in light of who God is, we see how small the goal is compared to God, and we are emboldened to pray this big audactious request: "Lord, for the glory of Your name, provide for orphan care in Zambia $50,000 by July!

Please join us in prayer (and fasting at least one meal, if you can) on Wednesday!

I invite you to pray for the Zambian Mission Project this week, particularly for all ZMP prayer intercessors, that we would pray with confidence as we remember the truth of Isaiah 64:4: "From of old no one has heard or perceived by the ear, no eye has seen a God besides You, who acts for those who wait for Him."
If you are able, spend some time fasting and praying this Wednesday!

I invite you to pray (and fast if you can) this Wednesday for the Zambian Mission Project orphancare ministry. Please pray especially for the ZMP team in Zambia as they teach the 40 + children they serve. Please take Colossians 1:9-14 and pray it for the teaching ministry.
Colossians 1:9-14: "And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. 13 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins."

The following is an update from Sandwell Zgambo, chair of our Zambian ZMP board:

Dear Frank,

Thank you for sharing those encuraging words.

The photos you are seeing are about the hammer mill and the plants that were purchased after receiving the funds. Rev . Isaac and Dickson both went to purchase the best hammer mill from Saro company. It will be used for business at the Orphan Care center. The sorrounding community will be bringing their maize (corn) to grind at resonable cost. It will start regular operations as soon as we are able to get it setup in a safe building.

The plants include Avocado, coffee, oranges and a few apples. Also banana suckers for extension were purchased. We belive proper maintance of these plants will result in more business opportunities. The team is working to make sure that we move toward self_sustainability in a few years to come.

Thank you for your hard work in helping us to achive this. And many thanks to our incredible Donors.

Your friend and brother.
Sandwell Zgambo

Will you join us in prayer this Wednesday?

This is the first of our weekly prayer updates for the Zambia Mission Project, and we're inviting you to set aside time to pray and, if you're able, fast for one meal—or more—as the Lord leads. Most importantly, we ask that you pray throughout the week as God brings this ministry to mind.

Over the next year, leading up to July 2027, we're asking God to do what only He can do:

🙏 Pray for God's provision. We are trusting Him to provide $50,000 so the Zambia Mission Project's orphan care ministry can become self-sustaining through local business ventures. Our prayer is that God would be glorified in both Zambia and the United States as people witness His miraculous provision.

🙏 Pray for vulnerable children. Ask God to meet the physical needs of orphans and at-risk children through the ministry.

🙏 Pray for changed lives. Most of all, pray that children, families, and communities will come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior through the faithful work of the Zambia Mission Project.

Thank you for standing with us in prayer. We believe God hears the prayers of His people, and we look forward to seeing what He will do in the months ahead.
