At our November DAR meeting, Mary Claire Kettler presented her book, “Born to Fly: The Story of Major Warren W. Sutton”. Maj. Sutton was a WW II hero from Mt. Lebanon. Our members sent Christmas cards to active duty military overseas, participated in a local school’s Veterans Day program, donated food to a local police and fire department, and participated in a remembrance ceremony at the 9/11 monument in Bossier.
