We’re having a little fun this week! We’re bringing an auction item straight to Facebook!

📸 Danielle Lee Photography has generously donated a package where she will capture professional photos of your student at a home sports or activity event.

We’ll be selling this experience to the highest bidder right here in the comments, with all proceeds going directly to the Minden Schools Foundation.

We had the pleasure of seeing one of our favorite Purple White Night Auction items come to life last Friday night!

MPS teachers and staff were celebrated at a well-deserved Staff Appreciation Event. It was an afternoon filled with great food, drinks, t-shirts and door prizes from several amazing local businesses.

A special thank you to Shane & Katie Schmidt, Rusty & Hailey Rhynalds, Cody & Lindsey Krull, and Gavin & April Blum for your auction purchase, making this event possible.

And thank you to the local businesses who contributed door prizes and support. You helped make the night even more special by giving back to the people who give so much to our students every day.

The success of our Purple White Night auction wouldn’t have been possible without an incredible group of supporters.

What an incredible night!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Purple White Night and helped make it such a memorable evening. From the laughter and energy in the room to the generosity shown throughout the night, it was a true celebration of our community.

We are so grateful to our sponsors, auction donors and everyone who contributed their time, talents and support to make the event possible. A special thank you to our Friends of Education honorees, Dick and Sally Phillips, for their years of dedication to Minden students and schools. We were honored to celebrate you.

Thank you to the Minden Opera House for providing such a beautiful venue, Lindsay Buechler from Simply by Lindsay for the balloons and photo backdrop, Elevated Catering for the wonderful meal, Carli Oberg from Sweet Street Confections for the VIP table cake, Minden Public Schools students for sharing their talent through the artwork and letters and Tiffiny Widdifield for the video displayed throughout the evening.

And thank you to Will C from The Veterans of Comedy for stepping in and bringing the laughs! It was the perfect way to round out the night.
