Clara's Nutcracker Tea 2026

Start a magical family tradition with Clara's Nutcracker Tea! Join us for a traditional tea at the elegant Clara's Grandview Tearoom at the Douglas County Community Center, Sunday, November 15, 2026. Kick off the holiday season with a reading of the classic Nutcracker brought to life by a short performance from Clara and her friends.

Choose a table inspired by the magical world of The Nutcracker! Table names are simply part of the fun—characters will not be seated at their namesake tables, and decorations may follow a different festive theme.

This event is a fundraiser for the Nevada Dance Company and supports the arts in Northern Nevada. It's an event like no other, and we want you to be there!

Tickets $25 Children / $45 Adults

🎉 TODAY’S THE DAY! 🎉

NEVADA DANCE COMPANY RETURNS TO DOG DAYS OF SUMMER!

Join us TONIGHT, Saturday, August 15, as Nevada Dance Company takes the stage at the 5th Annual Dog Days of Summer Dance Festival at the Pioneer Center in Reno!
We are incredibly proud that 2026 marks the fifth consecutive year Nevada Dance Company has been selected as a headlining company at this wonderful celebration of dance in Northern Nevada. 🩰

One of the things we love most about events like Dog Days is the opportunity for our younger dancers to come and watch the older students, pre-professional dancers, guest artists, and professional company members perform.

For a young dancer, seeing those they look up to performing onstage can be incredibly inspiring. They get to see where their own training can lead, experience dance as an audience member, and watch dancers who were once taking the very same classes they are taking today. ❤️

Tonight’s performance brings together:
✨ Nevada Dance Company Members
Oliver Adams
Erica Adams
Alexander Biber
Kinzie Stahl

🌟 Returning Guest Dancers
Danica Pinto — now dancing with the State Street Ballet Trainee Company
Jimmie Grant — now a Trainee with Sarasota Ballet

They will be joined onstage by the talented dancers of the Nevada Dance Company Pre-Professional Program for a special evening of dance under the stars.

📅 TONIGHT — Saturday, August 15
📍 Pioneer Center Outdoor Plaza, Reno
🎟️ FREE & FAMILY FRIENDLY

Bring your own chair or blanket, settle in on the plaza, and come support Nevada Dance Company and the incredible dance community of Northern Nevada!

The festival also serves as a spotlight benefit for the SPCA of Northern Nevada. 🐾

We would LOVE to see a huge Nevada Dance Company and Nevada Dance Workshop crowd there tonight! 💙

Bring the kids, bring the family, and come celebrate five years of Nevada Dance Company at Dog Days of Summer with a beautiful summer evening of dance! 🩰✨
