I just wanted to share what an Easter week it was! I finished teaching four of my classes at the Prison. Easter evening we had our Bible study that I go to with The Bridge and was honored to be able to share my testimony. We’re not allowed to bring in food right now but some of the inmates figured out that they were still allowed to bring stuff to the study and they made us a nice dinner of tacos and we had Tootsie rolls and candy for dessert and bottled water with flavor packets! It was the most precious gesture I’ve seen yet. Finally at the end of my testimony a man who’s been in the system for 25 years who happens to be a wonderful musician and blues player is also a songwriter and wrote a song about the East Gate! He promised to put it on paper for me y’all it is awesome. We are surely seeing Revival right now! I feel so blessed to be sharing my ministry with all of you and the partners that I’ve developed through The Bridge and all of the different churches who helped so regularly my heart is overfilled With love!

The Department of Corrections could use some help for the tournaments they have coming up!

To provide more positive activities for those incarcerated, the agency has announced our inaugural DOC Inmate Olympics. Each facility will have competitions in a wide range of events, such as track, basketball, pull ups, pickle ball, tug of war, co****le, trivia, spades, dominoes, singing, and more.

The facility events will be held sometime between April 13 and May 1. Winners will compete in the state finals at Great Plains Correctional Center.

There are items needed for the events that we do not have. Anything you can donate or let us borrow will East Gate Friends the Dept of Corrections could use some help for the tournaments they have coming up! This month East Gate Foundation has been a 501C3 Public Charity for 15 years.
I remember hearing the question in a Bible study once- “How do you repay a King who has shown you a kindness?” You serve Him.
I have more gratitude in my heart today than I’ve ever had for the miracle God so mercifully gave me. I realize more all these years later how much I have to learn. He is a most reverent holy God who I will never be able to do enough for.
I will serve Him as King as long as He allows me and one day I hope to stand face to face with my Jesus and say Thank you for the life you blessed me with. I love you.❤️

We got many hugs and good wishes at the prison yesterday! Many love you’s and God Bless you’s. The most precious were the men who had no clue how God would bless them at a dark time in their life. Thank you, Lord for the opportunity to serve you and to have so many support Your ministry. 😍

In my little redneck part of the country, I just want you to know I’ll be voting for Trump. This stance is just my way of following what I believe the Lord is having me do. I believe the Lord is our best shot for turning things around and believe that Trump has been annointed to do just that. The team that He has put together will make it possible for my family and friends and the future. Christian friends- please vote tomorrow. ❤️
