Hello! What is the Minatare Splash Pad Project? We’re glad you asked!
Our project committee is made up of members of our Minatare city government and community members, and our goal is to construct a splash pad at Minatare’s Kelso Park!
Our committee envisions a safe, accessible and enjoyable recreational space where kids can play in the water with state of the art, super fun equipment with their classmates, neighbors and families. We’d love to provide a place kids can be outside and active while getting wet and staying cool in the summer heat!
We are currently gathering money to make this simple dream for our kids and community come true! Funds will be used for the installation of a well, concrete, plumbing, and the splash pad play structures. We also hope to include benches and pergolas in the splash pad area for parents to use while their kids enjoy the fun.
So far, we have $22,100.00 pledged, but we still have a ways to go! That’s where you come in. We would love your help getting this fun project off the ground! You can become a sponsor, volunteer your time or expertise when it comes time to build, or just donate what you can. ALL help is appreciated greatly!
