📢 Help Support the Wichita Center for our students and families! 📢
Hello neighbors! Our community has always been incredibly generous, and right now, we have a specific need. The Wichita Center is currently running low on essential hygiene and household products for families in our school district.

We are working hard to stock the shelves and support those who need it, but we need your help to make it happen!

🛒 Items Most Needed Right Now:
>Feminine Hygiene: Regular and maxi pads
>Shower Essentials (Travel Size): Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash
>Daily Care: Deodorant and toothpaste
>Household Basics: Dish soap and toilet paper

The North Clackamas School District Food Pantry is currently running low on a few pantry staples, and we are calling on our amazing community for support! ❤️

If you are out shopping this week, please consider picking up a few of our most-needed items to help feed local families.

A massive THANK YOU to the incredible 5th graders at Sunnyside Elementary! 🌟🏫

We are so incredibly proud of these young leaders for organizing a highly successful hygiene drive to support the North Clackamas School District Hygiene Closet! 🧼🧴🪥

Access to everyday essentials like shampoo, soap, deodorant, and toothpaste makes a significant difference in students' health, well-being, and confidence across our district. Because of the empathy, hard work, and generosity of these 5th graders (and everyone who donated!), our shelves are stocked and ready to support our families in need.

A HUGE thank you to the amazing student leaders at Milwaukie High School! 🎉🏫

We are so grateful for the incredible effort from the MHS Student Government. Through their hard work and the generosity of our community, they successfully collected 700 pounds of food for our North Clackamas School District Food Pantry! 🥫🍎

This donation will go directly toward helping families right here in our district, ensuring they have access to the meals they need. It is inspiring to see our students stepping up, taking action, and making such a tangible difference.

A massive shoutout and heartfelt THANK YOU to the incredible Fuzzy Squad from the Clackamas County 4-H group! 📣💚🍀

We are absolutely blown away by your hard work and generosity. Thanks to your amazing fundraising efforts, you brought in a whopping 1,086 pounds of food and 61 pounds of hygiene items for our North Clackamas School District families! 🥫🧼🧸

It is so inspiring to see our local youth step up and make such a massive difference. Your dedication is helping families right here in Clackamas County get the resources and support they need.

⚠️ WATER SHUTOFF NOTICE – WICHITA CENTER ⚠️

Heads up, everyone! The City of Milwaukie will temporarily shut off water at the Wichita Center this afternoon to repair a broken water valve.

Important: Despite the water shutoff, the Wichita Center building and our Food Pantry WILL REMAIN OPEN! You are still welcome to come by during this time. 🏢🥫

📅 Date: Wednesday, March 25th

⏰ Time: 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Please plan accordingly if you are visiting us during these hours (restrooms and water fountains may be unavailable). We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause and appreciate your patience while the city completes the repairs. 💧
