🚧 IMPORTANT DONATION NOTICE: Wednesday, October 14th 🚧

Please be aware that we will NOT be accepting any donations on Wednesday, October 14th due to construction on King Road, which will temporarily close our drop-off area in front of the building.

Because the front entrance and drop-off zone will be completely blocked to keep everyone safe, we won't be able to process or receive drive-up or walk-up drop-offs during this time.

🗓️ Quick Summary:

Donations Paused: Wednesday, October 14th

Donations Resume: Thursday, October 15th (regular drop-off hours)

If you are planning to bring items by, please hold on to them until Thursday or stop by earlier in the week. We truly appreciate your generosity, patience, and cooperation while the roadwork on King Road is underway!

Please note that the Wichita Food Pantry and Clothes Closet will be CLOSED on Wednesday, October 14th due to road construction in the immediate area affecting access to our building.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our clients and visitors.

🗓️ Important Details:

Closed: Wednesday, October 14th

Reopening: Thursday, October 15th (regular business hours)

If you usually visit us on Wednesdays, please plan to stop by earlier in the week or visit us when we reopen on Thursday.

Thank you to our incredible community! 👕❤️ Your recent clothing donations have been absolutely amazing, and thanks to your generosity, we can provide vital support to so many families.

To keep our operations running smoothly and ensure donations get to those in need as quickly as possible, we need to share an important reminder about what we CANNOT accept:

-- Used socks and underwear

-- Bedding and linens

-- Stained clothing

-- Clothing with adult slogans or graphics that include any sort of alcoholic beverages or their containers (b**r glasses, w**e bottles, etc.)

-- Appliances

-- Any other household goods

We are so incredibly grateful to Nest Daycare and Preschool, Route 66 Cleaning, and Open Road Property Management for organizing a hygiene drive for our school district!

Together, they collected and delivered 344 pounds of hygiene products! 🧼🪥🧴

These essential items will be distributed directly to our students and their families, ensuring they have the daily necessities they need. Knowing our community has our back means the world to the families we serve and to us.

Thank you for your hard work, generosity, and for stepping up to support our kids. We truly couldn't do it without amazing partners like you! 💙🏫

Help us stock our food pantry with grocery bags! We are in urgent need of clean paper, plastic, or reusable grocery bags of all types. Our pantry reuses grocery bags donated by the community to distribute food back to the community. If you have a stock of grocery bags or medium-sized boxes, we could put them to good use right away! Drop off this week at the Wichita Center, open Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm in the summer.

Hello everyone! 👋 Our food pantry is currently running low on some everyday staples, and we are reaching out to our amazing community for help. To keep our shelves stocked for families in need, we are looking for specific essential items.

If you are heading to the grocery store or doing a pantry clean-out, please consider donating the following:

🍅 Tomato Products: Diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste

🥫 Canned Black Beans

🌱 Lentils: 1 lb bags

🍝 Pasta: 1 lb bags

🌽 Canned Vegetables: Specifically corn and carrots

Hello neighbors! Our community has always been incredibly generous, and right now, we have a specific need. The Wichita Center is currently running low on essential hygiene and household products for families in our school district.

We are working hard to stock the shelves and support those who need it, but we need your help to make it happen!

>Feminine Hygiene: Regular and maxi pads
>Shower Essentials (Travel Size): Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash
