Friends of Minthorn Springs Wetland

Friends of Minthorn Springs Wetland Minthorn Springs Wetland is part of the Kellogg Creek watershed and was farmland until 1975. It was aquired by the Wetlands Conservency in 1996.

The site was used as mitigation for the “Milwaukie Marketplace” development that began in 1988.

Nice to hear that the Minthorn project is likely to be funded for helping improve access to the wetland!

We have a warm and sunny Saturday ahead -- perfect time to come check out things at MInthorn! You can come at 11 for the wetland celebration, or earlier if you'd like to help pull clematis and other weeds to help the hundreds of native plants that have been planted in recent years to thrive.

Next Saturday -- Wetlands Celebration at Minthorn!
