🐾 CASHMERE’S HAPPY ENDING 🐾

Some rescue stories remind us exactly why we do what we do. ❤️

When Cashmere needed help, Cats Meow Cat Rescue was there—and so were YOU. Because of the generous people who donated toward Cashmere’s care, she was able to get the treatment, love, and support she needed to make a full recovery. 🥹🐱

And now we get to share the very best news…

✨ Cashmere has been ADOPTED! ✨

She has found her forever family and is officially beginning the next chapter of her life surrounded by love. 🏡❤️

To everyone who donated, shared her story, sent good thoughts, or supported Cats Meow Cat Rescue in any way—thank you. You helped make this happy ending possible.

This is what rescue is all about.
Healing. Hope. Second chances. Forever homes. 🐾❤️

Happy life, sweet Cashmere! You are so loved. 🥰

We need your help! CMCR is busier than ever!

Chalcedony is just one cat in our care who has complex and expensive medical needs. This sweet girl is only 10 weeks old and has already suffered an injury that required a tail amputation. She is healing well, and we are so excited for her future.

We have also had a kitten undergo an eye enucleation, and possibly a second cat who will need one as well. We have had a major URI spread through our fosters this season, along with foster homes caring for kitties with ringworm.

On top of our usual expenses, including vaccines, spay/neuter, food, litter, and so much more, we only partially recoup these costs through adoption fees. Fundraising and donations are what keep us going and allow us to cover the medical care and supplies these cats need.

We have 241 cats in our care at this time. This is more than EVER before. Last year, we barely reached 200 cats in our care at one time, and this year, we can't seem to get below that number.

We are so grateful to be able to help this many cats and kittens, but we cannot do it without your help.

As a reminder, we are all volunteers. Our fosters, helpers, and directors are all unpaid and do this out of the kindness of our hearts. Every dollar goes back into the cats we help.

The vet bills and supplies needed to keep our kitties healthy, happy, and ready for adoption are not cheap.

Please consider helping these kitties by supporting CMCR with a donation. Any amount is appreciated and goes directly back into the kitties!

After hearing amazing things about Secondhand Pet Supply on social media, our director Samantha went to go check it out. The owner, Michael, was so welcoming and helpful! Secondhand is a nonprofit like CMCR, and on top of Samantha purchasing some much needed supplies (not pictured), Michael DONATED all of this food and more to our rescue! This truly helps our rescue so much in so many ways, AND we love collaborating with other organizations like this!

Thank you Michael and Secondhand, huge shout out and you'll be seeing much more of us.
*This is open to the public and is a great way to get all things pet supplies that are gently used and affordable - go out and support him. He also accepts donations!*

**Update - We found a foster! Phew! Thank you Amber and Sue for accommodating these kittens. We could not save kitty lives like this without you.
We also want to give a HUGE shout out to everyone who commented, shared, and offered. We hate to be in a situation where we are scrambling like we did, so we will be contacting all of you to see if we may be able to add you to our roster for the next time we need help! **

Urgent! — We have a mamma kitty that is extremely overwhelmed with the eight babies she delivered a few days ago. Because she had so many, she is not caring for them at all unless a few are separated out and then she will care for about half of them. We are looking for a bottle feeder or two that can care for the remaining four babies. These tiny newborns cannot wait and need experienced bottle feeder(s) immediately. Please let us know if you can help. We provide all the supplies and support.

🐾💕 HAPPY FAMILY FRIDAY! 💕🐾

There’s nothing better than seeing one of our Cats Meow kitties go from waiting for a family… to being HOME. 🏡🐱❤️

Today we’re celebrating all of the happy families who opened their hearts and homes to a rescue cat. Every adoption is a brand-new beginning — and every happily-ever-after starts with someone choosing to give a cat a chance. 🥹✨

To all of our amazing adopters: THANK YOU for giving these sweet babies the love, safety, and forever home they deserve. ❤️

And to the cats still waiting… your family is out there. 🐾

💕 Adopt. Rescue. Love. Repeat. 💕

Happy Family Friday from Cats Meow Cat Rescue! 🐱🏡
