We are just under two weeks away from our first summer concert in Ardenwald Park! If you like your blues on the greasy side with some soul and funk thrown in for extra flavor, this is the one for you. The legendary Curtis Salgado Band is bringing their powerhouse soul, blues, and funk to the Ardenwald Summer Concert Series on August 6th.

Ben Rice & The PDX Hustle closed out our series last year, and Ben’s back as part of Curtis’s band this year.

Bring your lawn chairs, pack a picnic, and join your neighbors and enjoy one of the Northwest’s finest musicians right here in our neighborhood. It’s going to be an unforgettable night!

Delicious eats from Milwaukie Pizza Co., Luna's Ice Cream, and Freehand Bakery will also be available.

Parking is limited, so please walk, bike, carpool, or catch Tri-Met! Convenient stops: #75 at 32nd & Floss, or #34, 40 & 75 at 42nd & Johnson Creek Blvd.

🎶🌳 The Ardenwald Park Summer Concert Series is back! 🌳🎶

Make the most of your summer evenings with live music, friends, and neighbors! Join us every Thursday in August for the Ardenwald Park Summer Concert Series—four free, family-friendly concerts that bring our community together.

📍 Ardenwald Park (3667 SE Roswell St.)
🕡 Concerts begin at 6:30 PM and continue until dusk

🎵 August 6 – National Night Out featuring Curtis Salgado
🎵 August 13 – Soul Suspect
🎵 August 20 – The Bottle Blonde Quartet of 7
🎵 August 27 – Jay Si Proof

The series kicks off on August 6 with National Night Out. Enjoy community activities, meet public safety representatives, and explore local resources starting at 6:00 PM before the music begins.

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, family, and friends, and enjoy one of Ardenwald’s favorite summer traditions. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome!

The Winter Solstice & Christmas Ships event is this Saturday, Dec. 20 from 4:30 to 7:30 PM in Milwaukie Bay Park! The combined Christmas Ships fleets will pass by the park twice, the first time at about 5:30 on their way to Lake Oswego and again at about 7 PM on their way back to Portland. Food and beverages are available for purchase from the Lewelling Neighborhood Association and Beer Store Milwaukie.
