Vikings, it’s time to dream BIG!
On Monday, June 8, come dressed as your future career. 👩‍⚕️👨‍🚒👩‍🏫👨‍🔬👩‍🚀👨‍🍳

Whether you want to be a teacher, veterinarian, engineer, artist, scientist, athlete, or something entirely unique, we can’t wait to see your future goals on display!

✨ Dress as the career you hope to have someday.

💙💛⚓️ VIKINGS, LOOK WHAT WE DID TOGETHER! ⚓️💛💙

Our 2026 Stronger Together: VAE Viking Jog-A-Thon is officially in the books, and what an incredible success it was!

🎉 Online Donations Raised: $12,888.23
💵 Cash Donations Raised: $1,225.00
🏃 Total Raised: $14,113.23 or 94.1% to goal this year

That’s more than last year’s Jog-A-Thon total and an amazing accomplishment for our school community!

📈 173 students participated making an online donation platform
🎓 353 students attend View Acres
⚓️ That’s 49% of our entire student body participating in that form of collection

From decorated shields and smiling runners to volunteers, teachers, office staff, families, and community supporters, this event truly showed what it means to be Stronger Together.

🎨 And the fun isn’t over yet!

Our Art Night & Silent Auction Fundraiser is currently at:

🎓💙 From Masks to Milestones... Look How Far They’ve Come. 💙🎓

This year’s 5th graders hold a special place in our hearts.

They began their View Acres journey as kindergarteners wearing masks, learning new routines, and navigating a world none of us expected. Through resilience, friendship, hard work, and determination, they have grown into leaders ready for their next adventure.
Now it’s time to celebrate all they have accomplished.

🎓 5th Grade Celebration
📅 Thursday, June 11
⏰ 8:15 AM

Each student will be recognized with a promotion certificate, we’ll announce the recipients of the Scott Burks Award, and celebrate together as they prepare to move on to middle school.

At the end of the day, our K–4 students and staff will honor our graduates with a special Clap Out, cheering them on as they leave View Acres Elementary for the final time.

To our 5th graders:
You have grown through challenges, learned through change, supported one another, and made your mark on View Acres. We are so proud of each and every one of you.

What an incredible Jog-A-Thon last Friday!

Our students showed determination, school spirit, and what it truly means to be Stronger Together. From decorated shields and cheering families to every lap run, we are so proud of our View Acres Vikings! 💙💛

🎉 We’ve now raised $12,508 toward our $15,000 goal! 🎉
That’s over 83% of the way there, and we’re within reach of the finish line!

Today our Vikings will be running, cheering, and showing what it means to be Stronger Together as we work toward supporting field trips, classroom resources, school events, our garden program, and so much more.
