Back in March during the TCMI Intensive, I had the opportunity to speak with Teven Williams, a graduate of the Portland Men’s Campus and it’s been incredible to see how God has continued to move in his life since then.

In this conversation, Tevin shares about an opportunity that will take him to Hawaii for a new job. He reflects on what he thought his options might be, returning to lumber work or going back to the thrift store, but recognizes that the Lord had different plans. Through Teven’s story, we are reminded that God’s plans are far greater than anything we could choose for ourselves.

He speaks on the verse in Isaiah, “Here I am, Lord, send me,” and boldly declares his commitment to walk in God’s plan for his life.

Teven also shares that the staff and interns played a major role in why he stayed at Adult & Teen Challenge PacWest. Seeing their transformation, he knew it wasn’t by human power, but by God. After two years in the program, he understands the reality many face in addiction, there are only a few ways out: death, prison, or getting help.

Today, we celebrate Teven as he steps out in faith and heads to Hawaii to continue following the call God has placed on his heart. We come together in prayer, supporting him in this next chapter and believing God will guide every step he takes.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Adult & Teen Challenge PacWest 💐

Today, we celebrate and honor the mothers, grandmothers, spiritual mothers, mentors, and women who faithfully pour into the lives of others every day. Thank you for the countless ways you lay down your lives for your children and families through your love, sacrifice, patience, and care.

Your nurturing hearts reflect such a beautiful picture of God’s love for us, comforting, compassionate, faithful, and selfless.

We also recognize that Mother’s Day can be difficult for many. For those carrying grief, loss, longing, or pain today, we are praying that the God of peace would surround you with His comfort and presence.

You are seen. You are loved.

Sometimes recovery means a complete life change, and that can feel overwhelming. But with supportive people, strong community, and most importantly, God, transformation is possible.

Thank you, Mike, for pouring into your community, sharing your passion for the Word of God, and encouraging others on their journey toward hope and healing. We are grateful for the impact you continue to make.
