On this historic Independence Day, the Clackamas County Peace Officers Association proudly celebrates 250 years of American freedom, independence, and democracy.
We honor the brave law enforcement officers who serve and protect our communities with honor and courage — the men and women who safeguard the very liberties our Founding Fathers fought to secure.

Thank you for your unwavering service, sacrifice, and dedication. Today, we celebrate the greatest nation on earth and those who defend it every single day.

As we enter into this special Memorial Day, we remember. This nation was and is protected by sacrifice. Over 1 million of America's sons and daughters have perished in defense of this great nation. We will never let their names die.

The Clackamas County Peace Officers Association announces our unwavering support and endorsement of Clackamas County Ben West - Clackamas County Commissioner for re-election! Commissioner West has consistently stood with our law enforcement professionals, prioritized public safety, supported our deputies and first responders, and worked to keep Clackamas County families and communities secure. His leadership as a registered nurse, Naval Officer in the Reserves, and dedicated public servant has delivered real results for those who serve and protect us.

We know the importance of backing leaders who understand the challenges facing law enforcement and who refuse to play politics with our safety. There are those out there who claim Commissioner West is "failing Clackamas families" and that he "can't be trusted." We see a very different reality: a commissioner who has fought for resources for the Sheriff's Office and focused on practical solutions rather than divisive rhetoric.
