August Master gardener class is postponed.

Due to the extreme heat and hazardous air quality from wildfires, we are postponing the master gardener class for August until further notice. It’s best to stay indoors at this time, stay hydrated, and stay prepared!

You may have noticed a new sign in the garden that says, “We are all in this together / Don’t Give Up.”

This sign is a part of the Don’t Give Up Movement to spread love, hope, and raise awareness about su***de prevention.

There’s a few signs on the potting bench if you want one for your garden or home, feel free to take one!

Garden opening party was a success!
We learned about what is good to plant now in May and what to plant next month when it’s warmer weather. We planted seeds and flowers and met new people and reconnected with friends!

The garden is officially open for the season! 🎉

🌱 The garden beds have fresh amended soil, and are all ready for planting

💧 The water barrels are also all at full capacity so we will have plenty of water for the season
