Happy NBA Jersey Day from Employ Milwaukee!

Today, our team is showing off their favorite NBA jerseys in celebration of NBA Jersey Day and the power of basketball to create opportunities beyond the court!

Through a $250,000 grant from the NBA Foundation, 15 Earn & Learn participants had the opportunity to engage in four sessions with the Milwaukee Bucks Foundation this summer, gaining valuable experiences through tours, volunteer opportunities, and guest speakers.

A special shoutout to for helping create meaningful experiences and opportunities for our youth!

We're proud to celebrate this partnership and the opportunities it creates for Milwaukee's young people!

This summer, Earn & Learn participants Aleyah and Kaitlyn worked at Raising the Bar, where they interacted with children and families, helped make a major event successful, and even got to meet Dwyane Wade.

"They became part of our team and had opportunities to strengthen their communication, customer service, leadership, and workplace skills," said Executive Director La'Ketta Caldwell. "Their success is a reminder of what can happen when we invest in young people, give them meaningful opportunities, and trust them to lead."
