We’re honored to invite you to the 50th Anniversary Law Symposium & Annual Meeting hosted by the Association for Women Lawyers on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Milwaukee Athletic Club (758 N. Broadway Street, Milwaukee)

From registration and networking over coffee to inspiring panel discussions and a luncheon keynote by Recently Retired Wisconsin Supreme Court Chief Justice Ann Walsh Bradley, this half-day event celebrates five decades of AWL’s commitment to advancing women in law.

Featured sessions:

• Panel 1 (8:45–10:00 AM): Leadership, Purpose, & Longevity: Women Leading the Legal Profession — a discussion among past AWL presidents now serving as judges, managing partners, and institutional leaders

• Panel 2 (10:15–11:15 AM): Practicing Ethically in the Age of AI: What Every Lawyer Needs to Know — presentation focusing on confidentiality, bias, accuracy, and the lawyer’s duty of competence under Wisconsin SCR Ch. 20.

Luncheon (11:30 AM–1:00 PM): Includes the keynote, the unveiling of AWL’s Strategic Plan by President Lauren Maddente, and recognition of award and scholarship recipients

We’re entering a major financial shift—the Great Wealth Transfer. Around $105 trillion is expected to be passed down to heirs by 2048.
