Thank you to the Milwaukee Fire Historical Society & Fire Museum for hosting a wonderful open house today! 🚒

Guests were treated to an engaging timeline that highlighted firefighter heroics, alongside some of the city’s most significant tragedies, and the evolution of firefighting technology over the decades. The museum also featured a vast assortment of artifacts and historic equipment that brought Milwaukee’s firefighting history to life.

A special thank you to the long-time firefighters who generously shared their time, stories, and knowledge — their passion and firsthand experiences made the visit even more meaningful.

A wonderful reminder of the bravery, innovation, and dedication that have protected Milwaukee for generations. 👨‍🚒🚒

And if you didn't make it today, no fret! The Museum is open the first Sunday of the month all the way through December (holidays excluded). Plus, we hope to host a Milwaukee History Club social gathering here in the future.
