Meet Chef Justin!👋🔥👨‍🍳

Next up in our Forks & Futures chef spotlight is Justin Aprahamian, chef and owner of Sanford Restaurant in Milwaukee. Justin’s culinary journey began at just 12 years old, working for his uncle’s catering company, and eventually led him to Sanford—first as a prep cook, then chef de cuisine, and ultimately owner.

A James Beard Foundation Award-winning chef, Justin is passionate about honoring the traditions of Sanford while continuing to make the restaurant his own.

On September 27, Justin will be paired with a FoodRight student for our inaugural Forks & Futures brunch, sharing his experience and passion for cooking. We can’t wait to see what Justin and his student partner create!

Meet Chef Gregory! 👋🌎🥘

Next up in our Forks & Futures chef spotlight is Gregory León, chef and owner of Amilinda, his Iberian-inspired restaurant in downtown Milwaukee. A four-time James Beard Foundation Award nominee, Gregory’s cooking draws on his experiences across the U.S., Spain, and Venezuela.

At the heart of Gregory’s culinary journey is a belief in the power of food to bring people together—a value that makes his participation in Forks & Futures especially meaningful.

On September 27, Gregory will be paired with a FoodRight student for our inaugural brunch, sharing his passion for food and culinary expertise.

And there’s another way to experience Gregory’s talents: dinner for six at Amilinda on a night the restaurant is typically closed. This one-of-a-kind dining experience is part of our Forks & Futures auction.
