Defining DIVA Sisterhood Defining DIVA Sisterhood is on a mission to BE the change we wish to SEE in our community.

Defining DIVA Sisterhood is a movement to empower, and inspire women and girls. It is our purpose to have a positive impact on others and our communities, through continuous service, mentoring, volunteering and networking. The purpose of our sisterhood is to unite women of like-minds, to empower each other, share knowledge, provide encouragement, network, and BE the change we wish to see.

🩷 HELLO OCTOBER! 🩷

New month. Fresh energy. Bigger dreams. And the SAME GIRL GANG VIBES! ✨

Let’s step into this month remembering that we don’t have to compete with one another—we can cover, encourage, celebrate, and lift one another. There is room at the table for ALL of us! 🩷

So, my beautiful DIVA Sisters, this month I want you to:

🩷 Keep showing up, even when it’s hard.
🩷 Believe in yourself, even when you have doubts.
🩷 Speak life over your dreams.
🩷 Surround yourself with women who recognize your VALUE.
🩷 Celebrate another woman’s win without feeling like it diminishes yours.
🩷 Be the kind of woman who reaches back while she climbs.
🩷 And above all, remember that YOU ARE ENOUGH.

God is still writing your story... What feels like a delay, may simply be preparation for what’s next. Trust His timing, keep doing your part, and don't shrink yourself to make anyone else comfortable. 🙏🏽

And let me say this LOUD for the women in the back:
I LOVE US! 🩷

I love women who encourage women.
I love women who pray for women.
I love women who celebrate women.
I love women who make room for women.
I love women who genuinely want to see another woman WIN!

Because when one of us rises, we ALL have an opportunity to rise.

WE DID IT! 🩷

We officially wrapped up our "Pink Purse Project", which was lead by our DIVA sister Glenda- what started as an idea, became a beautiful tangible expression of love, compassion, and sisterhood. 🙌🏾

The purses were donated to Fresh Start Learning LLC, a local Non-Profit organization committed to strengthening women & families dealing with domestic violence and human trafficking. We're glad to know, these purses will be used to assist women in navigating their own journeys toward healing and new beginnings. 🙏🏾

The purses were filled with essential care items, a food gift card, and—most importantly—a heartfelt letter of encouragement...because sometimes it's not just about what you give, it's about reminding someone that they matter.

It's a blessing to BE a blessing- no matter how big or small, and our goal is to always make an IMPACT within our communities.🩷

To my DIVA Sisters, the amazing Cover To Cover Book Club Ladies , and everyone who helped make this project possible: THANK YOU‼️ You showed up, you gave generously, and you helped us be a blessing to those in need.

This is what we mean when we say:

WE DID IT! 🩷

💜 SEPTEMBER IS SU***DE PREVENTION AWARENESS MONTH 💜

September is a reminder that someone’s struggle may not always be visible. A smile can hide pain. A “I’m fine” may not always mean everything is fine. And sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do is simply ask, listen, and be present.

As women, sisters, friends, mothers, daughters, coworkers, and members of our community, let’s be intentional about checking on one another.

💜 Ask the question.
💜 Listen without judgment.
💜 Take changes in behavior seriously.
💜 Remind someone that they are not alone.
💜 Encourage professional support when it’s needed.

And please remember: You don't have to have all the answers to be there for someone. Sometimes, being willing to sit beside someone in their hardest moment is a powerful act of love.
