We had an amazing time at our Amplifying Muslim Voices event!
From learning about how our government works to testing our knowledge with a fun Kahoot, the energy in the room was incredible.

Huge shoutout to our winners and everyone who showed up, engaged, and made their voices heard. This is how we build the next generation of leaders—together.

WMCF had an amazing time with MSA students at UW–Madison!

We talked about how to amplify your voice and broke down what local candidates actually do, from the Supreme Court to school boards, so students can better understand their impact.

We also put their knowledge to the test with a fun Kahoot (with some great prizes 👀AirPods, a projector, and a Bluetooth speaker)!

And of course, we wrapped it all up with a delicious meal from Dave’s Hot Chicken

Grateful for the energy, engagement, and passion from students ready to make a difference. This is how we build the next generation of Muslim civic leaders

WMCF’s First Civic Competition!

The Wisconsin Muslim Civic Foundation was proud to host our first civic competition with Salam School seniors.

Students engaged in civic learning, critical thinking, and friendly competition and the top three students won prizes including AirPods, a mini projector, and a Bluetooth speaker.

This is just the beginning. We look forward to bringing this civic competition to more schools across Wisconsin and continuing to empower Muslim youth to be informed, engaged, and confident leaders.

This Thanksgiving, we honor the Indigenous nations who have cared for this land and commit to learning beyond the myths.

Muslim and Native communities share resilience and community care. We stand with our Native siblings as we work toward a future of dignity and justice, inshAllah.

“In our religion, we are meant to come together, even if we’re from different tribes, different cultures.” “When we have big organizations like this…it takes a weight off our shoulders, protecting us, looking out for us, and helping our Muslim community.” – Haleema & Amina, WMCF Gala Volunteers

At the WMCF Gala, youth leaders Haleema and Amina shared how WMCF brings Muslims together across cultures and generations, offering the representation and support their community has long needed.

From Fiqh to Siyasa: Rethinking Muslim Political Engagement

We’re truly honored to welcome Dr. Asifa Quraishi-Landes a leading scholar of Islamic and U.S. constitutional law whose groundbreaking work explores how Sharia’s moral and ethical principles can inform just and inclusive governance today.

A Carnegie Scholar and Guggenheim Fellow, Dr. Quraishi-Landes’s research challenges misconceptions about Islamic law and calls for renewed engagement rooted in faith, justice, and pluralism.

Join us for this thought-provoking discussion on what authentic Muslim civic engagement should look like in our time.
