Congratulations to Reuben K. Harpole Jr. on being named Grand Marshal of Milwaukee's Juneteenth Parade! 🎉

Reuben was an integral part of launching the Milwaukee Community Sailing Center, helping create opportunities for generations to experience sailing on Lake Michigan. We are grateful for his leadership, service, and lasting impact on our community.

Dramatic clouds at the lakefront today. Fortunately, everyone made it back to the dock before the rain hit. When you take an MCSC boat out, make sure your phone or radio is on, and loud enough to hear, so dockmasters can reach you quickly.

In Prams in the Park, kids ages 8–11 learn real sailing skills while having a blast with new friends. From steering their own boat to learning how the wind works, every lesson is packed with adventure, teamwork, and fun.

No sailing experience or membership required! Participants should be able to swim at least 25 yards.

Thank you Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and the Amazing Grace Chorus ( Wisconsin Alzheimer's Institute ) for a great concert! And thanks to everyone who joined us for our Musical Joy by the Lake event. It was a beautiful evening of music and community!

Members: Join us every Sunday at 2:00 PM to sail our centerboard fleet. Sailors will be matched with others based on experience and may have the opportunity to try a new boat. The only requirement is prior completion of a capsize drill— no specific rating is needed.

Sail Lasers, 420s, Catalina 14.2s, and RS Touras while building confidence and sharpening your skills on the water. These sessions will help prepare you to participate in our MCSC Centerboard Regatta on August 16th.

The first week of sailing will begin on June 21st. Before that, we will have a complete rigging review held on June 14th and laser specific rigging review on June 7th.

Our incredible instructors and staff have been hard at work getting boats ready for another season on the water, and we're excited to welcome two newly added 420 sailboats to support our growing Youth Level 3 program.
