28 people for Dinner snd Bible Study. Great dinner cooked by Marcello our Home Advisor. Continued our study in Acts with chapter 3 with Pastor Laurie. On top of it all we celebrated Nick’s 7 year celebration of coming in to the ministry. After his year in the program, he stayed on staff and the last couple years he’s been Program Director. Proud of you Nick and truly thank God for you.

Tonight was another great dinner and Bible study. Over 30 people enjoyed Sobelman’s burgers and Pastor Rob from Brookfield Lutheran brought a great study out of Galatians. God is blessing and we are ever so grateful. To Him be the glory.

SOS SOS SOS We have a permit and dumpster ordered and paid for for next Thursday, May 14. The volunteers that agreed to help us fill the dumpster with items in the attic and basement at Emmanuel, 1501 W. Lincoln, just told us they have to cancel. We need strong volunteers to help us clean out the items in the basement and attic. We can't pay anyone, but can promise snacks beverages. Yesterday our program director Nicholas Hackbarth stopped at the cheese store in Bancroft WI and loaded up on cheese for the guys at Emmanuel MKE. Its unclear at this point if he actually shared with the fellas or if he hoarded. Only he knows for sure. 😆

This pic popped up a short time ago. It is dated Feb 2025. There were 8 in the pic, and the picture taker makes it 9. This was a Thursday night dinner and Bible study. A year later, we have 30s sometimes nearly 40. God is good. Growth shows His hand on us as His Word is taught and people ready for a life of recovery are finding freedom in Jesus. Thank you Lord.

Great night tonight for Tuesday dinner snd Bible study. Delicious dinner made by the Emmanuel guys. Followed by lesson taught by Pastor Robert Nettles. Prayer time at the end was precious. 37 total people. Numbers continue to increase. Awesome to see God move as people are hungry, both physically and spiritually. Thank you Father. You ARE good. ❤️
