Summit Players Theatre A traveling, non-profit theatre company committed to presenting accessible theatre performances and educational workshops around Wisconsin.

The Summit Players are a traveling, seven member theatre company who present short, accessible, free Shakespeare workshops and performances to audiences around the state of Wisconsin. Before each show, we teach a 45 minute workshop for kids (and fun adults) on Shakespearean text, general theatre practices, and how Shakespeare used nature in his plays. All the words in our shows belong to Shakespea

re, there are just less of them. Summit Players Theatre shows are produced with new cuttings of Shakespeare's scripts that become tight, approximately 75 minute shows of mayhem, character switches, and hilarity.

JOIN US FOR A PARTY!

On Thursday, June 11, see the final preview of HAMLET and celebrate the launch of our 2026 tour! You won't want to miss a second of this incredible FREE show!

Starting at 6:00pm, mingle with us at Marquete University for a good time before settling in for this exciting show. The show begins at 7:00pm and will take place on the lawn North of Lalumiere Hall on Marquette University's campus (1310 W. Clybourn., Milwaukee). Parking can be found on Clybourn St., 11th St., or in Lot J off 11th St., behind the Church of the Gesu. The Helfaer Theatre will be open for bathrooms. In the event of inclement weather, the show will take place inside the Helfaer Theatre.

In traditional Summit style, please feel free to bring your own seating (camp chairs, blankets). Questions can be answered by emailing [email protected].

We can't wait to kick off this tour and we hope you'll join us for what's sure to be a grand time!

We’re still buzzing from our fundraiser on Monday! Spring into Shakespeare was an absolute blast, and we hope you had fun with us! We loved sharing our Shakespeare love with long time Summit fans and introducing it to new fans, some of whom joined us for the first time!

We hope this got you pumped for this summer’s production of HAMLET, opening June 12th. Our full calendar can be found on our website. We can’t wait to see you in the parks! Thanks for a great evening!
