King Drive Is Our mission is to grow our community by supporting businesses, organizations, and all who live and work in the greater King Drive area.

Since our inception in 1992, the BID’s mission has been to improve the King Drive District by fostering a culture that enjoys a trendy and authentic retail experience while attracting businesses who embrace the commitment to hard work and strong character that the area was founded on. And so far, expectations have been exceeded. In the past 15 years there has been over $200 million of new development in the BID.

Today we’re highlighting Terrell Morgan, the artist behind this week’s interactive Bronzeville BRUSH installation on the vacant Historic GRANTS Building at MLK & North Ave.

Ego turned an empty corner of the district into a living canvas — inviting neighbors to step in, add their mark, and experience creativity in motion. It’s the kind of activation that brings Bronzeville’s spirit to life: bold, collaborative, and rooted in community imagination.

Today, we’re throwing it back to one of our favorite moments on King Drive. The day our intern Zoe Bell🤞🏾🦋 stopped by Honey Bee Sage before heading off to college. The shop was full of laughs, inside jokes, and the kind of hugs you only get from people who truly care.
