Remember Blanca? We have the most incredible news!

She has officially left her old life behind—from being confined to a small outside crate, underfed, and abused, to now living her absolute best life! ❤️

Blanca (now Rey 👑) is safe in a wonderful foster home, and best of all? Her foster family plans to officially adopt her!

Lucky is officially safe with us, and to no one's surprise, he is doing absolutely amazing! 🐾❤️

Here’s what his foster mom has to say about this sweet boy: "Lucky has completely settled in and is showing off his adorable personality! He is equal parts playful and snuggly. He loves a good game of yard fetch with a football, but he's just as content curling up right next to you on the couch. At night, he loves sleeping on the bed—usually flat on his back with his legs straight up in the air! 😂❤️🥰
He's super food-motivated, already knows 'sit,' and while he can be a little timid meeting new people at first, he warms up fast. He's been great with the neighborhood younger kiddos as well as the older kids in our home. He definitely loves chasing squirrels and rabbits (cats are TBD!), but overall, he's just a total lovebug."

Some of you may remember Halo, she was rescued with the help of Chained Dogs Mke Inc a few weeks ago. After some much-needed decompression time and lots of work with her amazing foster mom, Halo is officially ready for adoption!

Meet Halo! This gorgeous, sweet girl spent the first two years of her life chained outside and used for breeding, but today she’s discovering what it means to be loved. Halo is good with other dogs, doesn’t mind cats, and we think she’ll be fine with kids once she’s comfortable. New people and situations can be scary at first, but give her a few minutes and some tasty snacks and she’ll be your best friend! She’s still working on potty training and learning her house manners, but she’s doing amazingly well for a dog who only recently discovered indoor living—and she LOVES comfy dog beds! Halo needs a patient, consistent family who will help her build confidence, gently push her beyond her comfort zone, and allow her sweet personality to shine. We know her Pawfect family is out there!

This handsome guy is Glenn, about 2½–3 years old, and he is now looking for his forever home through Chained Dogs MKE Inc.

Glenn originally started life as a stray/feral cat and was rescued and socialized before being adopted about two years ago. He is now coming into our rescue so we can help him find the right next home.

Glenn can still be a little timid and anxious with new people, so a patient home willing to let him adjust at his own pace would be ideal. He would likely do especially well with a kind, playful cat companion—or even two. 💙

🚨🐾 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR BLANCA 🐾🚨

Chained Dogs MKE Inc. urgently needs a safe place for Blanca. Even a foster for just a couple of days could make a huge difference while we work on finding her a longer-term placement.

Blanca is a sweet young dog who has been living 24/7 in a kennel/crate, and she is currently very underweight. We were also told that someone witnessed her being hit her with a belt. Members of our team have personally gone out multiple times and observed Blanca being kept confined for extended periods, including in a very small crate outside with little to nothing around her.

Despite everything she has been through, Blanca is still an incredibly sweet girl. 💔

Right now, our biggest priority is getting her into a safe, comfortable environment where she can decompress, receive proper care, eat regularly, and finally experience what it feels like to be safe.

Even if you can only open your home for a few days, please reach out. A short-term foster can give us the time we desperately need to arrange something longer term.

Food, supplies, and veterinary care will be coordinated through the rescue.

🐾 Happy national dog day, let's find Snoop a forever home!

I’m checking in again because somehow another month has gone by and I’ve now been waiting 9 months for my forever family.

Don’t get me wrong—my foster home has been wonderful, and I’ve learned so much here. But nine months is a long time to wait when you’re ready to belong somewhere for good. My bags are packed, my heart is full, and I am more than ready for my people. ❤️

If you’re new here, Chained Dogs MKE Inc. pulled me from MADACC when I was a skeletal 40-pound shadow of a dog. Today? I’m a healthy, happy, approximately 100-pound masterpiece of pure mush.

🐾 The Snoop Profile

Age: 4 years old — past the puppy chaos and ready to be your loyal companion.

Health: Neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm-free, and thriving.

Specialty: Being a 100-pound lap dog with absolutely zero understanding of personal space. If you sit down, I’m probably going to assume your lap belongs to me. 😆

🏡 What My Ideal Home Looks Like

A confident, consistent human: I’ve come a long way with boundaries, toy sharing, and leash manners thanks to structure and routine. I need someone willing to continue giving me that consistency.

Older kids / sturdy humans: I’m basically a giant, affectionate bulldozer of love. Older kids who won’t mind an occasional accidental bump during cuddle time would be the best fit.

Dog siblings—or solo king status: I am dog-selective, but I can do well with other dogs when introductions are slow, patient, and properly managed. If you’d rather have me as your one and only? That works too—I have enough love to fill the whole house. 👑🐶

Nine months.

Nine months of learning.
Nine months of growing.
Nine months of proving just how incredible I can be.

I’ve done the work. I’ve had one heck of a glow-up. Now I just need someone to finally look at me and say, “You’re coming home.” 🥹❤️
