🐾 1-WEEK UPDATE: HE IS A WHOLE NEW DOG! 🐾

​It is hard to believe it’s only been one week since this sweet boy was rescued from a lifetime of abuse. The transformation in just seven days is nothing short of a miracle!

​Here is what his amazing foster mom, Mary, has to say about how he’s doing: ​"He got a bath yesterday and did good overnight in my room! It’s hard to believe he’s only been here a week! He’s an entirely different dog! He’s also just relaxing more. Lots of naps! He is such a lover. And overall pretty well behaved. Other than being an oaf who doesn’t know his size!"

​Seeing him go from living in constant fear and pain to taking cozy naps, soaking up baths, and being the ultimate lovebug warms our hearts beyond words.

He is finally learning that he is safe, loved, and never has to worry again.

​He still has a journey ahead as he continues to heal and gain weight, but he is showing us every single day how resilient dogs truly are.

Hi everyone.

​We’ve posted a few times over the last couple of weeks pleading for dog food donations. While we are so endlessly grateful for every single bag that came in, the reality is that it went right out the door to waiting, hungry pets almost instantly.

Right now, our shelves are practically bare—we are down to just 4 large bags and 10 small bags of dog food.

​For the past three years, we have poured our hearts and souls into making sure thousands of pets in our area didn't go hungry.

Every single month, we deliver food to 50+ families. That doesn't include our outreach events, unhoused community members, welfare checks, foster animals, veterans, or the dedicated social workers who rely on us to help feed the families they support.

Every month, over 100 animals depend on us just to keep their bellies full.

​Because 90% of the families we support do not drive, we personally deliver directly to every single door. We do this because no loving owner should ever be forced to give up their best friend simply because they lack transportation or are going through a tough time.

​To show you how committed we are to making these deliveries happen: the constant wear and tear on our personal vehicles has already forced a few of us to cover major repairs—replacing shocks, struts, coil springs, bushings, and tires—out of our own pockets, not to mention gas. Because we have very few volunteers available to help handle these supply drops, the burden of driving and loading falls almost entirely on just a couple of us. We simply cannot afford to keep buying food out of pocket on top of maintaining our vehicles.

We are at the point where we have to ask if we can even keep this food program alive. It breaks our hearts to say that, but we cannot keep running on absolute empty.

We can never keep our shelves stocked, and we simply cannot afford to buy food or keep fixing our cars to keep this going alone.

​If this program shuts down, over a hundred pets a month lose their food source. Families lose the lifeline keeping their animals at home.

🐾 THE UPDATE EVERYONE HAS BEEN WAITING FOR 🐾

​HE IS SAFE.

​After everything he has been through, this sweet boy is officially out of harm's way and resting safely with his wonderful foster mom, Mary!

​As hard as the pictures are to look at, they still don't show the reality of how thin and scarred he really is in person.

Seeing him up close, his entire spine and ribs are showing, and his body is covered in scars from the horrific abuse he endured.

​But despite it all, his sweet spirit hasn't been broken—he is very curious and sweet as pie! As soon as his freedom ride started, he was already giving kisses.

​And the absolute best part? That heavy chain and choke collar went straight into the garbage! 🗑️✨

​His nightmare is officially over, and his journey to healing—both physically and emotionally—starts today.

We cannot thank Mary enough for opening her heart and home to give him the gentle love he has waited years for.

And thank YOU to everyone who shared his story and advocated for him to get here!

This morning, our hearts broke into a million pieces. Our sweet Bully Bear—our beautiful Bully Baby—crossed the rainbow bridge.🌈

We are absolutely devastated, heartbroken, and completely at a loss for words.💔

​Bully spent his entire life before us chained up, starved, and completely alone.

It took months of fighting to rescue him, but we finally got him out. We promised him that the rest of his life would make up for everything he had lost.

​Shortly after saving him, we noticed a bump. The tests came back with the worst news possible: inoperable cancer. No surgery, no chemo, no cure. Nothing could fix it. But instead of letting that diagnosis steal his joy, his incredible foster family stepped up and officially made him their own.

They loved him with every fiber of their being, and he loved them right back.

​Bully was, without a doubt, the best dog to ever live.

Despite everything humanity did to break him, he harbored zero malice in his heart. He loved every single human and animal he ever met. He adored his food, lived for his snacks, and soaked up every ounce of affection he was ever given.

​We are so broken. He deserved a lifetime of soft beds and endless sunshine, not just a year. But if there is any comfort in this nightmare, it is knowing he didn’t die alone at the end of that cold chain. He passed wrapped in warmth, love, and dignity.🙏

​To his amazing family: thank you for opening your hearts and home to him, for spoiling him endlessly, and for giving him the absolute best year of his life. We are forever in your debt.

To everyone who cheered Bully on, sent him treats, bought him toys, and loved him from afar—thank you. You helped show him what love truly felt like.

​Run free now, Bully Bear. No more pain, no more chains, no more sickness. Just endless fields, all the treats you can eat, and infinite love.

We will never, ever forget you, sweet boy.

🚨 URGENT: HE IS STILL BEING BURNED. WE NEED A FOSTER IMMEDIATELY. 🚨

​Last year, we found out about a dog suffering unthinkable cruelty—constantly chained to an indoor staircase, routinely burned with ci******es, and severely abused.

​When we tried to save him during a welfare check, the owner threatened us with a gun and chased us down the street. We called the police, but their hands were tied. We were devastated.

​Fast forward one year later: He is still there. He is still being burned.​We called the police again, but there is still nothing they can do.

Now, his owner is threatening to throw him outside to survive on his own.

We are ready to step in and rescue him right now, but we have nowhere for him to go.

We cannot bring him to safety without a foster placement ready.

*​Health: Never been to a vet; severely abused and needs love, safety, and medical care

🚨 URGENT: GIGI STILL NEEDS A FOSTER TO GIVE HER A FRESH START! 🚨

💔​Without a committed foster home ready to step up, we cannot bring Gigi to safety!

​One of our wonderful volunteers, Melanie, was able to spend some time with Gigi this past weekend, and it truly broke our hearts. Gigi is kept confined inside all day—she was only allowed to step outside when Melanie arrived, and the second Melanie left, Gigi was put right back inside while her family sat outside enjoying the day.

​Despite being kept locked away and feeling a little scared by everything going on, Gigi's sweet spirit radiated the moment she got human attention—her tail never stopped wagging! 🥹

​She has so much love to give, and we are determined to rescue her from this life and show her what a true family feels like.

​Here is what we learned from her visit & current details:
​🐾 Age: 3 years young

​🐱 Cat Update: There was a cat right next to Gigi during Melanie's visit, and Gigi didn't care or react at all!

​🥣 Feeding & Behavior: Her owners state she has never attacked a cat or another animal while eating, but she does growl if they get close to her food bowl. Because of this, it is best to keep her separated from other pets during feeding time!

​🐕 Dog Compatibility: We were not able to test her with other dogs ourselves, but her current owner states she is good with other dogs. Slow, proper introductions are always a must!

​🩺 Medical & Care: In 3 years, Gigi has never seen a vet. We are ready to give her a fresh start—we cover 100% of her medical care and supply everything you need (food, crate, leash, toys, bowls).

​⚠️ PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING:
This may be a long-term foster commitment. The animals we save are coming off a chain, forced to live outside, or coming from backgrounds of abuse and neglect. They have been through enough, and we cannot have them moving from foster home to foster home. They need time to decompress, build trust, and learn.
