Day 180+ in Foster Care: My foster dad is starting to mention things like "squatter's rights" and "rent money," so I think it’s officially time to find my permanent kingdom. 👑🐾

​Hey Milwaukee, Snoop here! I’m popping back up on your feed because it has officially been 6 months of me waiting for my forever humans. Half a year! Do you know how many couch naps we could have shared in that time?!

​For those who don't know my glow-up story, Chained Dogs MKE saved me from MADACC when I was starved down to a heartbreaking 40 lbs. Today? I am a magnificent, 100-pound velvet house hippo. 🏋️‍♂️

​Despite my massive upgrade, I still have a major identity crisis. I have zero concept of personal space and 100% believe I am a delicate, 4-pound lap dog. If you are sitting on the furniture, prepare to be sat upon. It’s a lifestyle choice, honestly.

​Special Skill: Staring directly into your soul with maximum adoration.
​My Ideal Match:
Because of my rough past, I carry a little emotional baggage. I’m dog-selective (I like who I like, and my foster is still trying to crack the code on my algorithm!), so I need very slow, patient introductions.

​When I first arrived, I did resource guard my toys and treats around the other dog. But thanks to awesome structure and training, that is no longer an issue! To keep me winning, I just need a confident, firm leader who will keep those good boundaries in place. Of course, I’d also be perfectly thrilled to live the solo King life as your one-and-only fur-child! 👑

​🌸 Meet Gloria (Approx. 10 weeks old)
​This beautiful girl is learning about the world one adventure at a time! Despite being abandoned at such a vulnerable age, Gloria’s heart is as big as her puppy-dog eyes. She loves humans and all animals unconditionally.

​Here is what her foster mama says about her:
​"Gloria is a sweet, loving puppy full of curiosity, playful energy, and affection. She enjoys running errands, car rides, playing fetch, and running around with the big dogs. She winds down for the night with lots of cuddles and belly rubs! She is doing great in her crate, walks well on a leash, and is already learning commands like 'sit' and 'stay'."

​At just around one year old, Esme had every reason to be broken and afraid of the world. Instead, this beautiful soul chose love. She survived the unimaginable, yet she didn't let her past steal her spirit.

✨ One Open Door Saves Six Precious Lives ✨

​Our core mission will always be helping chained dogs and dogs forced to live outside 24/7. But when an amazing new foster home steps up and says "I have room," it allows us to open our arms a little wider. Because of that open door, this beautiful family is safe with us today. 🐾❤️

​Yesterday, we were able to pull this gorgeous mama and her five tiny, sweet babies from Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC) and bring them into our care.

​They are all doing absolutely amazing! Mama is doing a wonderful job, and we are just so in love already. Their brand-new, spacious playpen arrives on Monday so they’ll have all the room they need to stretch, roll around, and safely explore their new world.

​​We want to send a thank you to MADACC for letting us pull them, and an even bigger thank you to our incredible new foster family for opening their doors and hearts at a moment's notice.

​We can only step up for an animal in need when we have committed foster homes ready to take them in. When you open your home, you quite literally save local lives.

🚨 SOS: URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR LITTLE NOODLE! 🚨

​Meet Nova (affectionately known as Noodle), a 5-month-old Cane Corso/Boxer mix who has already fought so hard in her short life.

​Noodle started out as the "failure to thrive" runt of her litter. Just when things were looking up, she contracted Parvo.

Thanks to the incredible, around-the-clock care of a dedicated vet tech, Noodle didn't just survive—she beat it! 🎉

​She officially hit her 10-day post-diagnosis milestone, is doing absolutely wonderfully, and is cleared by the vet to get her vaccines this coming Tuesday.

​The silver lining? Because she successfully fought off the virus, Nova now has immunity to Parvo for the next year! 🛡️

​Now that she is healthy and thriving, she needs a safe place to land. Her current temporary spot is ending, and we need an immediate foster home where she can continue to grow, heal, and just be a puppy.

​💰 WE SUPPLY EVERYTHING! We cover 100% of her medical care and provide all the food, crates, toys, and supplies you need.
