Join us for a fun time carving and painting pumpkins with movies and costumes encouraged at Webers Greenhouse on October 24th from 12—3pm. This event is hosted by Teens Grow Greens Apprentices creating a prototype for their Changemaker Project on November 14th.

🌱📸🫶 2026 Marketing Apprenticeship video capstones! 📹

TGG Marketing Apprentices used what they learned in their video unit lessons to produce, direct, shoot, and edit a short documentary about a TGG program or member of their communities they want to spotlight in collaboration with their team. These four short stories are the outcome of our 9-month program that gives teens access to digital media storytelling skills and asks them to share the stories they find compelling in MKE. We loved having the Whole Foods Market crew join us for a volunteer day at Cottonwood Garden. Thank you for bringing your energy, getting your hands dirty, and learning more about Teens Grow Greens and the land we care for! 💚

The TGG community is more than just our teens. It’s the parents, families, mentors, and supporters who are there cheering them on every step of the way 💚

Meet April, Breanna Taylor’s mom and a proud TGG supporter since her daughter first joined the program in 2019.

“Watching my daughter’s journey with Teens Grow Greens brings me so much joy. Every year is a little different, and it’s so exciting to watch her learn, grow, and discover new things along the way. I couldn’t be more proud of the young woman she is becoming, and I’m so grateful to TGG for continuing to give her these amazing opportunities.”

We love getting to see our teens grow, but hearing from the families who get to witness that growth up close makes it even more special. 🌱

The 🌻 Teens Grow Greens 🌻 2026 Marketing Apprenticeship Gallery Show is now open to the public at Arts @ Large ! 🌱📸🫶

Open Tues - Sat, 9-5, through 9/18 with a closing reception on 9/18 from 5:30 - 8:00pm

All the work you see here, from photography, to short documentary, to business card design and portfolio building, is made by students! They tell many of the TGG stories you see on your phones and laptops. 🤳

We are a team of 7 apprentices and two artist/educators. In our 5th year, the 9-month program explores digital photography, portraiture, and DSLR cameras as an entry point to digital media storytelling.

We use that foundation to introduce digital filmmaking and documentary.

Finally, they put all of these skills and their work into a professional portfolio and we have the honor of showcasing their work at the lovely gallery at Arts @ Large
