Emilio de Torre, Executive Director of the Milwaukee Turners at Turner Hall, spoke at Progressive Baptist Church about election protection and the critical need for transparent and fair elections. Wisconsin’s next statewide election will be on April 7, 2026.

Angela Lang, Executive Director of Black Leaders Organizing for Communities (BLOC), spoke at a press conference about the April 7, 2026 Spring Election in Wisconsin. The results of the election will determine who becomes a WI Supreme Court Justice for the next 1O years. Local mayors, judges, councils, school boards and other positions will also be decided.

Wisconsin will have 3 elections in 2026:

1) Tuesday, April 7 - Spring Election / the WI Supreme Court Justice race & local seats

2) Tuesday, August 11 - Fall Primary / Preliminary round where you vote for party-based candidates including who you want to run for Governor, State Senate, State Assembly & others

3) Tuesday, November 3 - Fall Election Day / You vote for your preferences in the final round of candidates. Your ballot will include the final candidates for WI Governor, State Senate, State Assembly & other seats
