Happy Endings No Kill Cat Shelter Saving lives since 1994, Happy Endings is one of the oldest and largest no-kill cat shelters in Milwaukee, WI.

We focus on promoting the health, rehabilitation, and placement of cats into loving & "furever" homes as well as educational/community outreach. Many of the cats at Happy Endings were once strays or experienced mistreatment in their past. Our shelter allows these cats a second chance, as our volunteers take time and a special approach with each, understanding their individual needs and what home t

hey'd be best suited for. Our "Socialization Sponsors" program also allows for individuals to work with our cats on a daily basis, helping to build trust and restore the loving bond between cat and human. Happy Endings offers a secure and loving environment for our cats until they're ready to take the next step in their journey via adoption or fostering into loving homes.

Ralphie & Dreamsicle 🐾

Cats of the month for September. Come meet these brothers and consider giving them their forever home before they turn 1 year old. Their birthday is 10/13/25.

These busy, funny, curious, playful boys, LOVE to be out of their crate (who can blame them). They love to be all over and explore every inch of the shelter. When it’s time to go back in their crate we have to say “time to go home” and they put themselves away in their crate. ☺️ Ralphie is always front and center. Dreamsicle will check things out from behind bro to decide when he’s ready to interact. If you’re lucky enough to pet these boys they will rub all over your arms and purr purr purr!
