MKE He**in Diaries is a collaboration of YOU & others (Individuals, groups, churches, non-profits) with a common goal, ENDING He**in/Opiod/Pill abuse/deaths in Milwaukee County and throughout the state. Why MKE He**in Diaries? Because people keep secrets in their diaries & share things they don't want others to know. We WANT people to feel supported on this page whether you are a user, an addict,

a loved one of an addict or user, in recovery, a health professional, law enforcement, social worker or the family member of someone who has passed away due to overdose. This is your support system, dealing with addiction and the ramifications of it is DIFFICULT. We don't want anyone to be ashamed to say they are hurting or to ask for help. MKE He**in Diaries wishes to EMPOWER people so we WELCOME people to SHARE resources and at the same time, we will ASK for your help to raise awareness, advocate for legislation and programs that HEAL/HELP those affected by He**in/Opiods/Prescription pills. Together we can. Together we WILL, because we have to.

Wisconsin is in line to receive about $324.3 million, with 30% going to the state and 70% going to county governments. The Legislature’s Joint Finance Committee is set to vote on whether to accept the money during a meeting Tuesday.

Accepting the settlements will also subject the companies to a Wisconsin circuit court order requiring them to make major changes in how prescription opioids are sold and dispensed.

Wisconsin is in line to receive about $324.3 million.
