The countdown is on for Stepping With the Stars 2026: Havana Nights. 💃🏽✨

Before the competition begins, guests will be welcomed into an evening filled with live music, energy, and unforgettable entertainment.

Join us Saturday, May 30 at 5:00 PM for the Opening Reception featuring a live performance by Cigarette Break — bringing the perfect vibe to kick off the night.

Then, during our seated dinner, guests will enjoy a special live performance from Christopher’s Project as Havana Nights comes to life through music, rhythm, and celebration.

From the first note to the final dance, this will be a night to remember.

Please join us in congratulating Stepping With the Stars 2026 star Montreal Cain on receiving the “Disaster Relief Hero” Award at the 2026 American Red Cross Brave Hearts Gala in Milwaukee.

This prestigious honor recognizes Montreal’s dedication, service, and impact in disaster relief efforts throughout our community — stepping forward when people need support the most.

Held at The Pfister Hotel on May 13, 2026, the Brave Hearts Gala celebrated individuals making a difference through emergency response, military service, youth leadership, and community impact.

Montreal’s commitment to serving others reflects the same compassion, leadership, and heart he brings to Stepping With the Stars. We are incredibly proud to have him as part of our 2026 cast.

We are thrilled to announce that Abra Fortson returns for her second year as Emcee of Stepping With the Stars 2026: Havana Nights!

A respected community leader and seasoned professional, Abra brings more than 20 years of experience in government affairs, executive support, and community-based advocacy. Her work has focused on advancing economic justice, creating opportunity, and helping dismantle systemic inequities throughout our community.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Abra has a heartfelt connection to the mission of Stepping With the Stars. In 2024, she captured First Place in the Ladies’ Competition while dancing in memory of loved ones lost to cancer — bringing passion, grace, and purpose to the stage.

Now returning once again as our Emcee, Abra will help guide us through an unforgettable evening filled with energy, inspiration, rhythm, and heart — all in support of the Edison McCants Comfort Fund at Aurora at Home.

Her voice, presence, and passion continue to make SWTS even more special, and we are honored to welcome her back to the stage.

Big congratulations to 2026 Stepping With The Stars Mentor, Treanna Evans, on graduating from the prestigious LISC Milwaukee Associates in Commercial Real Estate (ACRE) Program! 🎉✨

Over the past 24 weeks, Treanna joined a highly competitive cohort of emerging leaders committed to shaping the future of commercial real estate across Wisconsin. Through graduate-level coursework, mentorship, networking, exams, and a final capstone presentation, she demonstrated the same dedication, excellence, and leadership we’ve come to admire both on and off the dance floor.

Administered by Local Initiatives Support Corporation in partnership with Marquette University, Milwaukee School of Engineering, and University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, ACRE continues to cultivate the next generation of changemakers in development, real estate, and community leadership.

The gentlemen stepped behind the bar and showed up for the mission in a major way.
